CHAPTER EIGHTY SIX

The wide space of Ryder's serene office and the quietness surrounding him was what he'd lived for since moving to the ever busy New York City, the all famous big apple.

He'd worked his way up to the top and then built himself this haven of an office, just like he'd done with his house, to hide from the ever present hustle and bustle and the incessant noise from the outside.

It had been everything he'd dreamed of, everything he'd craved, his peace only ever disturbed by the beeping of his computer system or his secretary's voice over the intercom.
