IN THE RAIN

Kiara stayed at the window side staring out the window in her old bedroom, the sky was dark, it looked like the first rain was going to pour that night,

She took out a cigarette and lit it, she opened the window as the first rain of the season began to pour, she put out her hand in the rain and let out a deep breath,

Shortly after, she heard the gate open and her eyes focused on the person that entered, it was Daniel, she wondered why he had left his car out, she watched him walk towards her front door and soon after, he began to knock,

Kiara closed the window and continued to smoke, Kara wasn't home so she figured if she ignored him, Daniel would eventually leave her alone, she couldn't even understand what he was doing here,
