The room Archer occupied was a guest room that had been rarely used. Rafe never let a guest stay at his house. Better to rent them a hotel in the city than to take them to his very private territory.
"He was cranky last night. Betty told me before I went to your room."
"He must have missed me. Kids of Archer's age wouldn't be able to live alone outside the house without a mother figure."
