VISIT TO MOTHER

Michael adjusted his tie in the bathroom mirror, after finishing dressing up, he grabbed his car keys from the side table.

“I am heading out to see my mother,” Michael called out, his voice echoing through the empty hallway.

“Do you want me to come with you?” Jessica asked Hesitantly as she appeared at the top stairs, still wrapped in the silk robe.

Michael shook his head. “No, just want to see her for a few minutes I won’t spend long.”

He stepped out into the bright morning light. He squinted his eyes as he made his way to his car. Still thinking about what to do about Aria's divorce. “I can’t just let her take half of my properties just like, never,” he said silently as he entered his car.

Michael started the engine, he caught Jessica staring at him from upstairs as she blew him a kiss. With a deep sigh, he drove out the driveway.

The gate of his mansion opened, as he drove speedily into the highway. He braced himself for the conversation he would be having with his mother.
