Right there I watched as a dish was served, unfortunately, my mouth betrayed me and watered immediately after it saw food, just when last have I had a such delicious looking meal.

I slowly let down my supposed strong guard and armor and sat down pushing back the negative thought that I might be poisoned and ate the pasta in front of me, I could hear the giggle from Macho but I could care less, I didn't even waste time on the plate, the food vanished before my eyes, I doubt I chewed properly.

"You are something else" I turned to see Macho staring at me with a mischievous gaze, I immediately got uncomfortable

"You are full of surprises, I haven't seen anyone like this for a while now, you haven't shed a single tear neither do you look scared, and right in front of me you just drank that plate of food," he said with a fascinated eyes reaching for my face, just the look on his face made me feel like vomiting.

His words weren't surprising to me, for half of my life I have been called a freak, who hardly shows emotions, but the truth is that I feel emotions, in fact, for the past few months I have been nothing but angry for the most part which is also an emotion.

I have drowned and wallowed in sadness for so long that it feels normal to me, well that is what my grandmother said to me, I do feel like crying when something tragic happens like when my grandmother died but I didn't, yesterday on the car for a brief second I felt it but...

"Now it's time to go" Macho interrupted my thoughts, I wanted to protest against going or maybe ask where we are going, but the thought of hearing that I might be sold scared me making me remain quiet and just followed like a puppet.

Unlike the previous night, I arrived it was just the both of us in the car which was surprising to me.

"Now listen carefully to me," He said making me tense up, it was just the two of us but still this is the most scared I have been

"You do not ask questions, you obey, and if you do everything correctly you might never see me ever in your life, and of course, your debt will be written off," he said

"I owe you no debt" I almost snarled

"As long as I can remember you are the daughter of Josh Hamilton, which makes you Luna Hamilton and your old man was smart enough to only include his last name in the contract making it a debt of Hamilton's family, see we are very good people we do not go after innocent people," he said making a chuckle escape my mouth

Who would agree that they were evil, hearing what my father did wasn't surprising, it sounds exactly like what he would do, he has a fear of responsibility for his own actions, therefore he makes sure to involve everyone around him in his own mess.

The ride this time wasn't a long one, soon he pulled over to a fancy-looking place, I couldn't tell if it was an enterprise or somebody's home, I took a moment taking in the surrounding in case of anything, who knows I might find a way out later.

He walked ahead of me with confidence knowing I can't make a run, I followed closely till I saw a woman elegantly dressed she immediately ran to us with a panicked expression upon seeing us.

"Oh my God, what took you so long, he is here and is asking for her," he said pausing after seeing me

"Goodness, every disappointment is indeed a blessing, who is this cutie pie," she said dragging me to herself with a sweet smile that made me uncomfortable, an enemy shouldn't have a beautiful smile like that

"I do not understand why Abby escaped like that, she should have just told me she changed her mind, did you say she is okay now?" the woman asked with a concerned look, the dark aura surrounding Macho now different, he smiled

"Yes, of course, she is okay, she had a change of heart last minute but don't worry Luna is very firm about her decision to do this,"

I held myself from rolling my eyes knowing damn well Macho was lying,

"Now we need to change this?" she said inspecting my gown, it wasn't even mine, the nice girl who I met last night lent it to me so I won't fall sick

I was led to a room filled with different high-end designer brands, I watched her pick out outfits in a hurry as another girl appeared to help, I couldn't help but wonder what will become of me, I was told nothing exactly and I am not that stupid to began asking questions, it could go wrong at any minute, death is not something I wish for myself, I must survive whatever storm waits for me.

I didn't even say anything or let her know I have not taken my bath since last night when she complimented my soup scent, it was the scent of the gown from last night but I just shamelessly accepted the compliment.

She was in a hurry, apparently, a man is getting agitated while waiting for me, this man I suppose is going to be my master, my fears are coming to life, and I will be sold to who knows who, I was dolled up I almost can not recognize myself

"You look stunning" she complimented with a smile while I just nodded awkwardly,

"There is no time to talk about the rules am sure Abby and Macho told you ahead," she said leading me away, I was told absolutely nothing, and my heart began to beat so loud against my chest as we walked, I looked back to see Macho signaling a warning to me not to mess up.

"Am so sorry for keeping you waiting, she was stuck in traffic, I apologize" the woman said standing in front of me

"I do not need an apology from you, I need her who kept me waiting to apologize" I heard a voice speak, and I immediately moved from the lady blocking me to see who it belongs to.

My mouth almost fell in shock, but I held myself, I was expecting to see a pot-bellied old man but there is a young man in his 30s, what in the world, looks can not really define people, how can he be so handsome and yet so immoral?

"Miss Lunaaa?" he stretched my name as if unsure of how to pronounce it, I immediately looked at the lady for help but she was, in turn looking at me as if waiting for what I had to say, defeated I lowered my gaze

"I am sorry sir, I was held up in traffic," I said ashamed of myself, this isn't me but do I really have a choice right now

"simply apologizing doesn't make things right I hope you know that right, my boss has been waiting for you since yesterday," he said sitting down, I followed  immediately seating down as well while he began to aggressively swipe a file, his face into a deep frown as he seems to be reading from the files

"You are not a graduate?" he asked me then looked over at the lady with a raised brow

"Unfortunately, no," I said wondering what my education has to do with being sold, and what kind of person is his boss if he is like this.

"Anyway we have to go now, my boss is getting impatient," he said getting up while the lady smiled "We have to run a few tests at the hospital then she will be qualified, once the test is done, the payment will be done okay?" he said while the ladies smile deepened

"Let's go miss?" with a nod from the lady I immediately followed him, his face as stoned as ice, he didn't even bother to ask me to follow him, I think this person might be worst than Macho but he suddenly stopped and opened the door for me holding it and waiting for me to approach, I was stunned but slowly I approached and entered the passenger seat while he went over to the driver's side.

"Excuse me sir but you are not my master?" I asked him while he turn around to look at me with a raised brow

"Master?" he asked me,

"oh you are not," I said leaning back on the car

"We will be going to the hospital right now," he said his eyes fixed on the road...

I wouldn't say it was a tiring procedure but the fear of the unknown still kept me on my toes, as for the man I still have no idea what his name is but his attitude toward me has drastically changed as if he is a different person, he bows anytime he comes to fetch me but still I am nothing but troubled.

"It's time I take you home now miss," he said with a neutral voice, I slowly followed him to the car still taking in my surroundings hoping that it is being registered correctly in my head.

After what seemed like a forever ride, the car stopped at a fancy high gate, every other building around had almost the same pattern, and the gate slowly opened to review the most gorgeous house I have ever set my eyes on.

"Is this where I will be staying" I let out in shock

"Hmm" he hummed before pulling over at the front door, my jaw dropped to the floor but I managed to pick it right up while following him inside.

As I stepped through the grand entrance of the luxurious mansion, I was immediately struck by the sheer opulence of the surroundings. The polished marble floors gleamed beneath my feet, while the walls were adorned with intricate tapestries and paintings that looked as though they might be worth a fortune.

Ahead of me, a sweeping staircase led up to the second floor, where I could see the glittering chandelier suspended from the high ceiling, casting a soft, golden light over the room. To my left, I caught sight of an elegant sitting area, complete with plush velvet armchairs and a crackling fireplace that filled the air with the scent of woodsmoke.

As I moved further into the mansion, I couldn't help but marvel at the intricate details that had been carefully crafted into every inch of the space. From the ornate carvings on the banisters to the elaborate cornices that adorned the ceilings, it was clear that no expense had been spared in the creation of this breathtaking home.

With each step I took, I felt as though I was being transported into another world - one of luxury and indulgence, where every desire could be satisfied. And as I gazed around at the magnificent surroundings, I knew that I had truly entered a world of grandeur and splendor, just what kind of man owes this magnificent home.

"Hello," An older woman with a warm smile said looking at me, my heart melted immediately I saw her, she reminds me so much of my grandmother with just a single look

"He is in his study," she said all smiles, I couldn't help but wonder what she could be doing here, held captive as well. Who knows but then again, her outfit screams luxury although not blinding and shimmery I can tell a cloth that cost a fortune by looking at it,

"Let's go," the young man beside me said in a soft voice, I nodded and followed him up the stairs, the excitement immediately knocked out of me, as my heart began to pound against my chest, the moment of truth, what will become of me.

We stopped at the front door of a room I suppose was the study of his boss, he knocked and listened, and as he listened and waited my fears escalated

"Come in" I hear from outside and he pulled the door open,

"Ladies first" I hear him say waiting on me to walk in first, my head immediately went down as an unknown fear took over me

"What is your name?" the voice asked, the voice too tempting to resist, I immediately looked up, and for the second time my jaw dropped, he was seating behind a large desk cluttered with books, nothing as I Imagined, A young man almost the same age as the man beside me if I am to guess with a face sculpted by heavens their self,

His eyes looking directly at me, even with the reading glasses covering his eyes I still can see his blue eyes piercing mine, his dark hair styled perfectly, he suddenly got up making me panic

"Are you hard of hearing" His voice broke the ice in the room

"Huh?" I said like a dummy even when I heard him correctly, I just couldn't help but be flustered by him

"What is your name? He repeated himself

"Luna" I answered while he just stared back taking a look at the paper in his hand

"Luna what?" he asked.

"Luna Hamilton," I answered still flustered, I usually don't behave like this

"Even the name is annoying" he muttered under his breath

"huh?" I said slightly annoyed but do I have a choice

"Take a seat," he said pointing to the sofa facing each other, I immediately sat down, and I watched as he looked at the guy, they didn't say a word but I know more was said with just their eyes, he walked over to the desk picked up a file and handed it over to his boss then went over to his former standing position

"Miss Luna, you know who I am right?" he suddenly asked while I stared at the other, what? How on earth am I supposed to know him

"My master?" I answered unsure of what he meant, the looks he gave showed he wasn't expecting that answer, what, he doesn't like being called that?

"what do you mean master, you don't know who I am?" he asked, now I am confused, Macho and the lady didn't tell me a thing

"I don't," I said truthfully,

He chuckled, his smile although not genuine was mesmerizing

"I am Maximilian Sinclair, now you know," he said dropping a file in front of me

"Maxim..." I paused repeating the name in my head, I swear it sounds familiar but I can't recall where on earth I have heard it

"You still don't know?" he asked as if in disbelief turning to look at the other

"Nathaniel?" he called the other who just shook his head and spread his hand as if asking why he has to get involved in this

"you are joking, next thing I will hear is you don't know why you are here as well," he said clearly annoyed that I don't know him, is he a celebrity I really have no idea, and he wasn't lying either, I do that know exactly why I am here, I can only imagine and hope it isn't bad but as I woman the chances of it not being bad is 1%.

With shaky hands, I opened the file, I could feel his eyes on me the whole time,

"CONTRACT" was boldly written on it, wait what, my eyes almost popped reading what was written, I have been paid to be a surrogate for this man, wait I was not sold?

"What is this?" I let out in disbelief...

Max and I were in for a lot of shock when the twins were born.We intentionally never went and asked for the gender but we were sure at the scanning all we saw was one baby. Even without expecting it, we were the happiest. My two beautiful angels, they still look nothing like me though, although Mother assured me they would pick up my features as they grow up. Speaking of Mother, I meant Max's mother, I am still working on the relationship with my mother. It did break me at a point, when I realized I myself was one of a twin. I couldn't remain neutral after learning that I was a twin and sadly she is no more. And both she and my father robbed me of the opportunity to bond with her. Not even once did I get to see her, neither did she know of my existence and you might have guessed who my twin was.... Yes, Lucy. The same Lucy Sabastine was in love with was my tw

(The End)"You love me?" was all I could muster as an overwhelming rush of happiness slowly seeped into my entire body. He was talking but all I could see was his mouth moving as his voice faded. It was an out-of-body experience as I tried to stand still, resisting myself from jumping up and down from joy."Say something please," I heard him say with a wild smile across my face."I don't know what to say" I answered truthfully as my cheeks continued to hit up."So does this change your answer?" he asked, attempting to hold my hands, his hands trembling as I held his sweaty hands. His gaze was mesmerizing. How come I didn't see all of this? It was all in front of me. Perhaps I hold him in such a high place that I think it's not possible for a man like him to feel something like love."You are Nervous," I said as he smiled awkwardly."Perhaps I am," he replied as I looked around again."You prepared all of this with Hervey?" I asked. All this while he went out with Hervey thi

He wasn't lying beside me.Slowly I rose from bed, scratching my eyes a bit disappointed that Mac wasn't in the room. I sat down watching the clock trying to figure out just for how long I had slept. The door swung open as I peeked forward to see Max enter with his back, a bit confused I watched waiting for him to turn around before I figured out he was carrying with him a tray of food. "Max," I called him with a smile as he approached."You are awake now?" he said, dropping the tray by the side as I looked to see what it was. Oatmeal with fresh berries and nuts."You wanted to surprise you," he said sitting by the bed with a smile on his face, I couldn't stop smiling as I looked at the food."Breakfast in bed?" I asked while he nodded proud of himself."You don't like it? " he asked, his voice carrying a hint of concern as he stared at me. "I made it wi

....I sat beneath a delicate canopy in the garden, surrounded by a riot of vibrant flowers that swayed gently in the breeze. The dappled sunlight filtered through the leaves overhead, casting a warm and comforting glow.It was a serene haven, a sanctuary of nature's beauty. Each flower seemed to tell a story, its petals a canvas of colors that whispered tales of growth and resilience. Even without mentioning it to her she already knew that I was pregnant. By surprise in Harrison's eyes, it was obvious they knew nothing about it even Cecilia immediately looked at my tummy."Let's go," Max said, holding my hand as he led me to the car."I'm so sorry, I had no idea they were coming," he apologized while I shook my head."No I don't mind, I like them," I said as he frowned. Pouting his lips."They are friends and your family," I said as he nodded."They will stress you, especially Harrison," he said while I smiled."Am not stressed at all I like that they are here, your house is too big and enough to hold in more people, they would be of good company," I said "Am I not a good company?" he asked as I let o
