CHAPTER 4 - MARRY ME PIERCE

PIERCE'S POV

Stan drove us to a five star restaurant just around the corner, which didn't take long at all. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we got situated close to the window with a great view and a waiter attended to us immediately and it's very obvious that Stan is fucking hungry with the way he jumped right in and made his demands while I had to look through their menu before deciding.

" Please get me Buffalo chicken bowls with cauliflower garlic rice and a bottle of wine." Stan ordered immediately while I am still trying to make up my mind on what to have.

" I will like salty, sweet and spicy creamy coconut curry sauce with broiled salmon and a side of white rice." I finally placed my order.

" Okay sir, I will be right back." The waiter said just as he was about to leave.

Just as he said, he returned within a few minutes with a bottle of wine and two glasses, he opened and served us before he left for the food I guess. It's actually a good bottle of wine, DeLuka... It's must be new because I am not familiar with the name but it tastes great.

" Wow today must be your lucky day and I dare say God approves of our decision because you won't believe what the cat just dragged in." Stan said out of the blue with a mischievous smile and I curiously looked around just in time to see two gorgeous ladies walk into the restaurant but I honestly don't know what Stan is on about because I don't know the ladies.

" What are you on about this time, do we know them?" I asked curiously just as the waiter returned with our food and my stomach immediately started rumbling at the sight of the food, it's smells so damn delicious and I can't wait to have a fucking taste.

" Of course we do, look very well at the curvy one on a black dress. That's Kiana, I showed you her picture a while ago at the office." He pointed out and the more I looked at her, the more I realized that he is right.

" Oh yeah that's true, she's got man." I noted before returning my attention to my food.

The food is fucking delicious like I anticipated and I am enjoying every bit of it, the spice level is perfect and I can actually eat this all day.

" Maybe you can introduce yourself to her and just make friends, I think that will be an easier approach." Stan whispered all of a sudden and I looked away from my food wondering why he felt the need to whisper and then I noticed that Kiana and her company are sitting very close to us.

" That will have to wait till after my food but then maybe there is another way I can get her fucking attention without having to leave my food." I whispered back and then I signaled to the waiter that attended to us a while ago.

" Yes sir, do you need something?" The waiter asked as soon as he got to the table.

" Yes, please give a bottle of DeLuka to that table." I said in a hushed tone and thankfully he got my message.

" Of course." He said with a knowing smile before he left and I made a mental note to tip the guy generously.

" That's a good move." Stan said as I continued eating.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed when the waiter took the bottle of wine to their table and then he pointed to me but I just concentrated on my food and acted like I didn't notice anything... Within a few minutes, we finished our food and I decided that it's time I introduce myself to the beautiful ladies, after all they have been stylishly looking my way.

" Hi ladies, sorry to bother you but I noticed when you guys walked in and I just wanted to compliment you guys, you both look lovely." I said with a smirk and they both started smiling at me like they have never received a compliment before.

" Thanks so much, my name is Lucy and this is my best friend Kiana." Her friend said immediately and stretched out her hand for a handshake which I took.

" Nice to meet you Lucy and Kiana, I am Pierce." I said after shaking Lucy and then I moved to shaking Kiana who seems to be very reserved.

" Thanks Pierce for the wine, we appreciate." Kiana said for the first time and she's has a sweet voice and I can listen to it all day long.

" It's nothing, I have to go now but here is my card. Maybe we can hang out sometimes, that's if you don't mind." I said specifically to Kiana as I gave her my card but I could see from the corner of my eye that Lucy was trying to whisper something to her.

" Of course we can, I know we don't know each other and this might seem crazy to you but do you think you can marry me Pierce?" Kiana blurted out and I am equally surprised at her statement, I know she's desperate for a contract marriage but I had no idea she's this desperate.

" What?" I asked obviously in shock because I don't know if she's still talking about a contract marriage at this point.

" No, sorry I mean a fake wedding. Like a contract marriage for a short period of time, I know I sound ridiculous and I shouldn't even ask because there is no way you can agree to something that silly." She said shyly and I pulled out a chair on her table and got comfortable.

" Well I can't deny that I wasn't expecting this and also the fact that this is new to me but I am not oppose to it. I am actually very bored at the moment and a little adventure won't hurt, so you can call me tomorrow or something so that we can talk about it further." I said while she stared at me in shock.
