"Lincoln, thank God you're here. Let's go out"
He sighed, knowing very well what Eva was up to "Why? I came here to have lunch with you. You promised to cook for me. That's why I came over Eva not to accompany you to one of your crazy stalking schemes""Stop whining. We can have lunch outside too. I know of a great place that has amazing food and great service""You hate eating out unless it's necessary or you're stalking someone" he sighed again "Who is it this time?""You know me so well Linc. Let's go, I'll tell you on the way""Eva" he whined, following her. She had been looking for an excuse to go out and God had sent her an angel from heaven. Lincoln would always be her guardian angel even though he whined too much and always fell into her traps. When her parents died, Eva had thought it was the end of the world. Her sister Rosslyn had done everything she could to cheer her up but it was hard, especially when social services threatened to separate them. Theirs was a common case. Two kids go into the system then are separated because no one wants to adapt both of them. Add that to the fact that they were older, it was almost impossible to find a family that would take them in. Due to all that, she had fallen into depression. She couldn't imagine being separated from her sister right after losing her parents. It had taken a lot to bring her out of that dark void. Always the cheerful one, Rosslyn had refused any family that wanted to separate them, saying that since they were born together, they would go everywhere together. The other kids at the orphanage thought they were stupid to pass up the chance to have a family but no one knew Rosslyn was doing all that for her. So she wouldn't have a complete mental break down. It still amazed her how strong her sister had been back then until Lincoln found them. He was their mother's younger brother and not old enough to take care of two children but he'd taken the responsibility, saying that he was the only family they had.To this day, he was still her guardian angel "I think he's the one. This time I'm not wrong""You thought your seven ex boyfriends were the one" he retorted rolling his eyes."I'm serious this time. It was love at first sight""For you or for him?""For us both. I can tell that he feels the same way too but he doesn't know it yet""Is that why we are stalking him? To make him realize his feelings for you?""We're not stalking, per say. I told you that I'm taking you out for lunch"Lincoln groaned "Where is Rosslyn when you need her?""She said she'll visit soon. I miss her so much""When will she release her collection? I can't wait to see Lily-May""Me too. Should I remind her about that bag I wanted? Knowing her, she might forget to buy it and blame it on me for not reminding her""We're here" Lincoln announcedAt that, Eva threw her phone in the bag and jumped out of the car. She had a big hat on, a pair of sunglasses and gloves in case any fans recognized her. Although, this was a pretty posh place. It was unlikely anyone would act out of character even if they really were her fans. "How do I look?""Who cares? Aren't we here to eat?""Yes, but it doesn't mean I have to look ugly when I'm eating. Is my lipstick okay or should I retouch it?""You look perfect Eva. Now let's go, I'm hungry"The second they entered the restaurant, her eyes were scanning the whole place looking for him. She spotted him at the far end in a corner talking to someone and lucky for her there was a perfect spot just waiting for them "I want that table" Eva pointed to the one next to his."I'm sorry ma'am but all the tables here are reserved" the Maître d told her. Eva gave her a once over. Dressed in a black skirt, white shirt and an orange scarf, she looked neat and reasonable."I reserved a table too. The best one, didn't I?""Yes ma'am""Then exchange it. No one is going to complain because you gave them a better table than what they had originally reserved. Right?""Yes, but...." scratch being reasonable out."If you can't do that then call your manager. I would like to talk to him""Eva" Lincoln hissed."What? I'm exchanging the best table for the one hidden in a corner and she's complaining. Seriously, who complains about something like that? It's like refusing sushi for pork. Who does that Linc?" by then the woman was throwing daggers at her but Eva was too focused on her target to care."Is there a problem here?" a man in his mid thirties, who she guessed was the manager, asked."Yes" she said taking off her hat and sunglasses. Screw crazy fans, she wanted that table and she was going to get it, come hell or high water."Ma'am, it's such a pleasure to have you here" the guy started babbling when he realized who she was."I take it you know who I am?""Who doesn't know you ma'am? The cameras don't do your beauty justice""Thank you. Now resolve this problem for me and I'll make sure your restaurant is fully booked for the next two years" the thing with business owners was that they would lick her boots if it meant having their business blow up. One word on social media and her fans would swarm the place in under five minutes."What problem?""I'll let your employee tell you" she said heading towards the table she wanted. Lincoln followed her asking"Did you have to cause a ruckus?""I really like this table Linc" she said adjusting her clothes and smoothing her hair back. When they got to the table, she placed her bag on one of the seats, sat down and counted to five. Then she looked up and gasped "Mr. Adler, isn't this a pleasant coincidence. What are the chances we would see each other again, here of all places?""Yeah, what are the chances" Lincoln retorted shaking his head. Eva kicked him under the table to shut him up."Miss Becker, good afternoon""It's a great afternoon indeed, now that I've seen you again. How have you been?""Busy. As you can see, I'm in the middle of a meeting....""Oh please don't mind me Miss Becker. My wife loves your books. She wouldn't shut up about the latest one" the guy Adler was with said. Smiling sweetly she replied,"I'll have to invite her over for tea and a chat. Give me her number""Really? Let me call her and tell her the good news" the guy stood up in a rush and went outside, probably to brag to his wife about how he was so willing to fulfill all her dreams. It was what most married men did. They kept their wives happy that way ensuring their happiness too. Eva thought that she would like that someday. For someone to keep her happy. It would be so better if that person was Mason Adler. She really wouldn't mind at all."What do you think you're doing?" Adler bit out. Unperturbed by his anger, Eva winked."Securing the deal for you. Thanks to me, this guy gets to make his wife happy. Take it from me, you don't even have to keep negotiating. Name your price and he'll do anything. People call it gratitude""I don't need your to help close deals. I've been doing that long before I met you""But now that you have, you can relax. I'll show up and close the deals with just my presence""Aren't you being rude? You're here with your boyfriend and instead of paying attention to him you're busy chatting up another man""Boyfriend?""Yes, him" Adler pointed at Lincoln who was busy going through the menu."He's actually cute enough to be considered my boyfriend? You should be proud of yourself Linc" she kicked him again"If you kick me one more time I'll show you what cute boyfriends do to their rude and annoying girlfriends" he snarled snapping the menu shut."Adler, this is my grumpy uncle Lincoln Morris. Linc, this is Mason Adler. The guy I was telling you about""Nice to meet you Mr. Adler. I suggest you run away from my niece before she ruins you" he said stretching his hand to shake Adler's."Is all your family like this?""Like what?""Insane""It comes from my mother's side. She used to perform in a circus before she met my father" Eva replied getting up to sit at Adler's table. He looked ready to follow Linc's advice and run but his client came back so he had no choice but to stay put. The man's beaming face was evidence that what Eva had thought earlier was true."Mr. Adler, thank you for making my wife so happy. Her mother died a little over a month ago and she's been feeling down lately. When I told her she was going to meet Miss Becker, she was over the moon. For the first time since the funeral, she laughed happily. I can't tell you what that means to me. So I'll let you set the terms of this deal. Anything you want""That's not necessary....""This is business" the man said "We both know what we want and we would have spent the whole day trying to best each other. But just this once, you have the upper hand. Take advantage of it Adler. I have to go. Send my lawyers the contract and I'll sign it without hesitation. Miss Eva, it was nice meeting you""The pleasure is all mine. Tell your wife to free up her weekend""Thank you. Adler," they shook hands and the man left. The look on Adler's face was priceless."See? With me by your side you don't have to spend hours arguing over something that can be solved with just a mere invitation. Imagine all the free time you'll have and how you would like to spend it. With me of course""Do I look like a joke to you?" he asked, having gotten over the shock "Who gave you the right to interfere in my business?""I don't need permission to help someone""I didn't ask for your help. I'm perfectly capable of closing deals on my own""Yeah, well, I closed this one for you so you owe me dinner. Tomorrow at your place. I'll cook"He stared at her as if she'd gone crazy "You really are insane""Life's too short to be sane all the time. What's your favorite food? Are you allergic to anything?""As a matter of fact yes. I am allergic to something""What?" Eva asked taking out her phone to make a reminder."You""Me? That might be a problem especially if you are to be my boyfriend but no worries. Together we'll find a way to cure your illness. Anything else?" she continued, unfazed by his words. When she wanted something, pride had no part to play in her decisions. Neither did shame. Mason Adler was about to find out just how shameless she could be."Have some dignity woman and leave me alone. I want nothing to do with you""They all say that in the beginning but end up falling in love with me. You're no different Mason. The harder you try to resist me the harder you'll fall. And the more you try to push me away, the more determined I become. I believe in the saying 'good things are worth fighting for'. You, Mr Adler, are a rare man to come across. If you think I'll let you go so easily, think again. I'll see you tomorrow at six. Don't be late" she blew kisses at him and went back to her table. Lincoln had already ordered and was halfway through his lunch."Old man, couldn't you wait for me?""I had to eat before I lost my appetite. You were more shameless than I've ever seen you Eva. Are you sure he's worth it?"Knowing he could hear their conversation, she said "Fifty percent. He knows that I want him and he's playing hard to get. We both know that the only way to get rid of me is to give in easily. That way I can lose my interest sooner and be on my way. But he doesn't know that so I'll have more fun seducing him. I wonder how long it'll take before he gives in"Lincoln looked up at her and shook his head. He also knew what she was doing. Goading Adler to accept her thinking that she would get bored and leave on her own. In reality, he would just be playing into her hands. She knew that since he'd heard them, he was going to start giving in to her demands easily. And boy was she going to demand a lot of things.Dinner was just the beginning. There would be breakfasts and lunches and more dinners until it became routine for him. She wouldn't stop until he went looking for her himself, asking why she didn't show up for lunch. By that time he would be ready to go to the next level. Sleepovers. And before he knew it, she would be an important part of his life. He would start missing her and demand she spend more time with him. He would be the one making the demands and not the other way round."Eat your food before it gets cold""Uncle Linc. You should be proud for having raised an awesome person like me""I keep thinking where I went wrong. How could I not instill some dignity in you? Is it too late to do that?""Probably because you don't have any yourself. How's Rina? Have you settled on the flowers?" she changed the subject."Don't ask. Please let me eat in peace without thinking about flowers" he replied cringing. He and his fiancé Sabrina were in the middle of wedding planning. Bridezilla aside, Sabrina was one of a kind. She couldn't decide on one thing, always changing her mind about the colors and fabrics, so that it took her almost a month to decide on one thing. At the rate they were going, Eva was sure she would get married and have a baby before they finalized their wedding."I have an idea. Why don't you kidnap her and elope? Go somewhere where there's just the two of you. Take a break from wedding planning""Do you want me to die? Sabrina will kill me if I do something as crazy as that""She wouldn't have the time to do so if you reminded her why she accepted to marry you. Go to the beach house or the cabin upstate. Rekindle your romance, bring your sexy back and forget about the wedding for a while. I think that most people get enough of each other before the wedding, so that after they're married, the spark is already gone. Leaving you wondering why people bother getting married if they're going to divorce six months later""That's the kind of advice adults give. Not children" Lincoln said smiling."I'm not a child""Yeah, I can see that. So will you please find a man and settle down like your sister""I'm sorry but how old are you to tell me to settle down? Give me a dozen cousins first before asking me to get married""Aaaand you're back. Let's go before you see another man who you think is 'the one'"Rolling her eyes Eva got up. She noticed that Adler had already left which was a good thing because she wouldn't want another woman to see him and think of trying to compete with her. He was hers now. It didn't matter what he said, he was hers. She was going to pester him until he agreed to see her then she would make him fall in love with her. Of course there was a possibility he wouldn't love her but then again she couldn't know that until she tried. Right?Even if Linc didn't tell her, Eva knew love couldn't be forced. That didn't mean she couldn't try her luck. What if he was really the one and she missed out on him because she was too proud to make the first move? No way. She couldn't risk it. Rosslyn had a husband and a daughter. Linc was getting married and would soon have his own wife and kids. She was the only one who would be left alone if she didn't find someone to spend her life with. It wasn't a competition about who got married first but she didn't want to be alone. Not again."Hey Linc""Mmmh?""Just in case he's not the one, I will still have you guys. Right? Married or not, you'll still be my family. Right?""Whether I want it or not, I am your family Eva. That is never going to change. Never""Okay" she nodded looking outside the window. Worse comes worst, she would end up as Lily-May's favorite aunt who spoiled her. She was never going to be alone again.*****************************************She followed him all the way to England. Mason couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted Eva sitting at one of the tables with some guy and pretending to not see him. He knew she was crazy but this was just too much. When she'd first shown up at the restaurant, he'd thought it was cute how she pretended to be surprised. He knew she had asked his secretary of his whereabouts because he was the one who'd given Mary permission to tell her where he was. It would be absurd to admit that he wanted to see her too so he settled on playing the game with her. He would let her think that she was winning then snatch away her victory just as she was at the finish line. Acting like he hadn't needed her help was hard. Mr. Philips was playing hard to get, knowing that he had the upper hand over him. But the second he saw Eva, things changed. Adler got the upper hand just by knowing that crazy woman. He was grateful that she'd helped him but since he had to keep his act up, he pretended to be angry.
"Hi" Eva said to a shocked looking Adler. He'd just come back from London to find her on his doorstep, waiting for him. In all honesty, she wasn't planning on going to see him at all. He'd run off to London after promising her dinner and she was a little mad at him. If he didn't want to see her then all he had to do was say so. She was willing to give him time to get used to the fact that she was going to be his girlfriend. She also wanted him to go looking for her. That way she would know how he felt about her. But Rossy ruined everything. Last night when she was about to go to bed, her sister had called telling her to hold on to him and never let go. Now, while Eva knew exactly why she wanted to be with Adler, she didn't need any further advice on keeping him. That just made things harder on her end. Whatever her sister saw in him to warrant that call, Eva wanted to know too. It was unlike Rosslyn to call and tell her to keep a man. Between the two sisters, they had
Mason looked down at her, giving her body a once over. She'd worn a dress today, a blue one. It was simple, with cute bows at the shoulders and something he would have expected her niece to wear. Not her. He'd seen the kind of clothes she wore. Cute wasn't a word that could be used to describe any of them. Hot, sexy, drive men insane kind of clothes, that was how he could describe them. It was amazing how good she looked in everything and he wanted to know how she'd look without them on. "I don't understand why you're angry Eva. Up until now I've told you a lot of things that could have angered you" he said looking down at her. She'd stopped fighting him and was just lying there glaring at him. "You're frustrating Mason. One second you're all over me and the next you want me to leave after dinner. I'm at a loss on what you want" he sighed and dropped beside her. "You're not the only one feeling frustrated. This is going too fast" "Is that your way of calling me cheap an
Talk about bad timing. That fucking stalker was going to get it when she found him. Why that day of all days? He could have chosen to trash her house another day. Hell she would have paid him to change his plans so she could spend more time with Mason. He'd surprised her. She hadn't believed he would give in so soon, especially after he'd insisted on going to sleep last night. Her body ached because of him and for him but it still wasn't enough. She wanted more, had already planned how she was going to spend the day. Why were people so hellbent on ruining her life? "Let me come with you" he was worried. For her. How cute. "No, you're going to distract me. It's been months since the stalker acted and I need to know what spooked him or her. It could be a woman, why hadn't I thought that?" "Eva, have you talked to the police about this?" "I have an entire task force on it" He took her by the shoulders and bent down to look into her eyes "You shouldn't joke about something lik
"How's it going with your new beau?" "I'm trying to get my mind off him but it's almost impossible. Any suggestions?" "Has he fallen then?" Pippa sighed dramatically "For some reason, I thought he'd take longer. He struck me as the kind of guy who could resist your type" Eva snapped her head up "My type?" Her secretary nodded, unfazed by her sharp voice. "Rich, beautiful, independent, perfect" "He's a man after all. Isn't he?" She hadn't met anyone who could resist her charms. Mason was human and eventually, he was bound to fall for her. What she didn't understand was why he hadn't called her yet. She had purposely ignored him to see how much he cared but it had been hours since she left his house in a rush. Why hadn't he checked in on her to make sure she was fine? Or if she needed a place to stay? "What's the secret Eva? Seriously, share it with me. I'm desperate here. I need a rich boyfriend too so I can stop working. Looks don't matter" She snorted "You say that as if
"Did I interrupt your sleep?" "No. You didn't. I woke up a while ago. Miss me?" "More like worried. Are you okay? What about the stalker?" "Trashed my house but he didn't steal anything and I'm lucky I slept elsewhere or I'll be yesterday's news" "You should have told me earlier. I was worried" Mason said finally sitting down. He'd kept himself busy all day to avoid calling her every hour to check if she was fine. He wondered if that kind of thing happened often and if so, why hadn't she hired bodyguards? She was famous. Which meant she was likely to attract all sorts of people. When had the person started stalking her? He had a lot of questions but didn't think she would appreciate his probing so he kept his mouth shut. "Sorry. I was just busy trying to find a place to stay" It was too soon. He shouldn't ask but the words were out of his mouth before he knew "You could have just come to me. I have more than enough room" "Are you asking me to move in with you?" Fuck! "
"You stole a car Eva" "Not steal. Borrowed it" "Without the owner's consent. That's equivalent to stealing. What were you thinking?" "That I should get the hell out of there before fans mobbed me. Do you not know how crazy some fans can be?" "Why didn't you bring Corbin and Ledger along?" She shrugged which only made Pippa angrier "If-when this gets out, you'll deal with reporters on your own. I will not help you clean the mess up" "You say that as if it's some kind of challenge. Have you forgotten who I am?" She loved and welcomed the attention. It made her more famous than she was and raised her book sales. Whoever said there was no bad PR was definitely on to something. "Where's the owner of the car?" "He'll be here any minute" the good officer who'd pulled her over while she was returning the car answered. He was kind enough to call the owner and asked him to go to the police station. Telling them both that it would be better if they settled this out of court. She was
"Eva, did..." "I flashed your parents" "What?" "I... Oh my God, what will they think of me? Can you call them back so I can apologize? I swear I didn't know it was them. Is there a chance they were your aunt and uncle?" "I'll be right up" he said not wanting her to freak out further. He'd told his mother not to go to his house because Eva was there but she hadn't listened. He got inside the elevator inwardly groaning. They'd seen her. He would never hear the end of it. By the end of the week, all her friends and neighbors would know he was dating Evangeline Becker. After that, it was only a matter of time before everyone knew. The elevator stopped and the door slid open. His eyes went straight to the bag of groceries they'd forgotten. Dear Lord, why had they chosen that day? And why was Eva walking around naked? The surprise. That had to be the surprise she'd mentioned earlier. Picking up the groceries, he punched in the password and went inside. She was pacing back and forth
"If that call has lasted more than five seconds, consider yourself..." "What? Fired?" Eva retorted, reminding him of the first time he'd met her. She'd changed but at the same time, she was still the same person who had changed her clothes in his office while he watched. Back then, he'd known he would never forget her. "In trouble. Who are you talking to?" She took the phone off her ear and pressed a button. A woman's voice came through "... decide which cover you want. I've emailed you the samples" "Yes, Miranda. Thank you for calling. Please email her the rest of the conversation, she'll get back to you when she isn't busy" Mason cut the call. "I still had a few questions to ask" "You were supposed to join me in the shower ten minutes ago" he said his hands busy unbuttoning the summer dress then pushing it off her shoulders. She only wore panties underneath which he also slid down her legs. On his way up, he palmed the little bump. Soon she was going to start showing. He
"Hey" she whispered through the crack in the door. "Let's go" "Where?" "Hurry up before..." Mason trailed off when he spotted someone else standing behind her. "Before what? Also, this is her sister. Eva is busy. She's not going anywhere with you" "I can't sleep without her, mom," he said ignoring a grinning Rosslyn. Sometimes he forgot Eva had a carbon copy of herself. Aside from the hair, he couldn't tell them apart. But he was confident that with time, he would be able to find that one difference between them without relying on their physical looks. "He sounds like when he was five insisting he couldn't sleep without his stuffed animal. Would you like me to put you to bed Mace?" "No, I want my wife. Stop hiding her from me" two days. He hadn't seen her for two days and he was getting antsy. It wasn't as if it was their first time getting married or sleeping in the same bed. Why were they preventing him from seeing her? "You'll get to see her tomorrow after the wedding
"A spanking?" Why did her voice sound so small? It was supposed to be sexy and seductive. It had taken her a long time to settle on that particular piece of lingerie. The lace garter covered half of her stomach which was supposed to hide her belly and make her feel confident but instead, she felt ready to bolt. Mason's eyes were on her, his gaze dark and burning. In the past, it used to make her feel empowered. Beautiful. Strong. But now, she wanted nothing more than to pull the blinds of the tall windows, so she could hide behind the dark. The sky outside was grey, lights already shining in the city below them. Eva moved towards him. Telling herself that if he loved her, he would have to accept her imperfections. She was done trying to be perfect. When she stopped beside him, he hooked a finger on the strap behind her thigh and gruffly commanded "Turn around" she obeyed, turning her back to him "Fuck Eva, your ass looks even better than I remember" she startled when his teeth sunk i
"Now what?" He'd held her as she cried, assured her there was no one else then her stomach decided it wanted food so they were sitting in her small dining room while she moved the salad she'd ordered for herself around the plate. "You should eat, Eva, and don't tell me you're not hungry" she was glad to see he was back to his bossy self. He hadn't changed one bit. He was still handsome and fit and so breathtakingly gorgeous while she'd let herself go. She didn't care what she wore, indulged too much in unhealthy food and it showed. She grabbed a salad once in a while and went worked out when she felt like it. But she was happy. After living under so much pressure, she liked not caring about her public image or what people would say. Until she saw Mason. Now all the doubts were creeping in. What if he didn't like this version of her? She'd worked on getting it back. Had been forced to peel away the so many layers she'd stacked on top of each other in order to get to that one. If he did
"Why don't they deliver?" "Their delivery guy was run over yesterday and they're looking for a new one. The guy isn't dead. He's at the hospital. Imagine how sorry they were that they felt the need to explain themselves. Poor guys" "Get to the point, Pippa" "So, yeah, that's what happened. I would pick up the food but I have an appointment with my OB/GYN. Cravings are a bitch, Eva. Please just pick up the order for me. I'll owe you big time" it sounded like bullshit. "I haven't been back for long but you're already a pain in my ass" "I love you too. I'll text you the order details. Thank you" she hung up. Eva removed the phone from her ear and stared at it. Wondering how she'd gone from Pippa's boss to her assistant. She'd ordered from the restaurant they'd gone to four days ago and she wanted her to pick it up for her because their delivery guy was unavailable. If she wasn't pregnant, Eva would have rolled her eyes and gone back to working. Shaking her head, she grabbed her
Tick. Tack. Tick. Tack. "Sir?" "Something's not right with this contract but I can't put my finger on what it is" "Shall I send it back to the legal department?" "Yeah, you do that. Tell them to find out what the problem is" he said pushing the papers away and leaning back on his chair. If he wasn't so distracted, he would have figured out what the problem was. But he couldn't concentrate on anything. Hadn't been able to do it since he bumped into Eva yesterday. It took him a moment to realize his secretary was still standing there "What is it, Marsha?" "You're still holding the pen. Is there something else I should do?" "No. Leave" "Are you sure sir?" "As sure as I am that if you don't close that door behind you in the next five seconds you'll be out of a job" "I'm right outside. Tell me if need something else" she said closing the door. Alden threw the pen on his desk and ran his hands over his face. Why had she come back? Two years had already passed and Mace was ju
"I couldn't go through with it""Why not? I'm sure they would have been happy to see you" Eva snorted "Yeah right. I'm sure anyone in their right mind would be happy to see someone who framed them and almost caused their miscarriage. Let's be real, Rossy" "I asked Linc and he said you were more than welcome to go see them. And before you lose your shit, it was a hypothetical question. He doesn't know I'm in contact with you. But he's an agent, Eva. If he wanted to find you, nothing could stop him" But he hadn't. Because he was still mad at her. "Anyway, I'll go visit them some other time" she'd gone to see them but the moment she arrived, she'd chickened out and drove away from there as if the devil was on her tail. Part of her recovery was being able to handle rejection without ape shit and she believed that she could. Just not at the moment. "Like some time this year or next year?" "Get off my case. I have stuff to unpack" she said eyeing the boxes
TWO YEARS LATER "Morning Ava" she grumbled a response, her mind miles away. But Lilly wouldn't be Lilly if she didn't jump in front of her and command her attention "I said good morning""Good morning to you too. Now can you get out of my way?" She snapped at the young woman who only smiled. Undeterred by her tone."What are you cooking up in that head of yours today? Could it be more adventures of our beloved couple?""Out of my way. I'm in a hurry""If you give me a sneak peek, I'll do your coffee run for the rest of the month""I never should have spoken to you that first day" she had been the first person to speak to her. Showing up at her door with an apple pie as a welcome to the town, then her eyes had gone round. She introduced herself and Eva made the mistake of telling her that she had a niece whose name was Lily. Since then, Lilly had taken it upon herself to introduce her to the rest of the town "Don't let her glare scare you off, she's real
"Why Mr. Adler, are you nervous?" "A little" he admitted sheepishly, feeling like a teenager who was about to do it for the first time. Only Eva could make him feel like that. They'd had sex on every surface of the apartment but it still excited him to know he would be inside her soon. Feel the way her body squeezed him and shook when she came around him. Reacquaint himself with every dip and curve. She took off her sweater laughing, making him smile. He loved it when she laughed. "I'm pretty sure it's not your first time" "Doesn't stop me from being nervous" "Lose the clothes, Adler" she ordered, heading upstairs. He followed her, undressing as he went. At the landing, she stepped out of her skirt, throwing a sultry look over her shoulder before veering off to the bedroom. His cock came alive, reminding him how long it had been since they were together. He'd jerked off to his hand more times than he could remember. Not wanting to pressure her into anything. At some point, he e
