Episode five.

Tessy paced down the room up and down holding her phone in her right hand, looking sick and worried checking her phone every now and then, it had been hours since Sofie left for Mr Asher's company and she hadn't called nor answered her calls, or heard anything from her.

The doorbell rang, she rushed to the door, and she saw Sofie looking pale.

"Oh my God, you scared the hell out of me Sofie, what happened to your phone?" Tessy half yelled but Sofie didn't say a word, she just quietly walked inside the house and dropped her bag on the ground without blinking her eyes, and that made Tessy even more worried.

"Babe, what's wrong with? Talk to me, you are scaring me? What happened back then? Did Mr Asher do something wrong to you?" She asked at once.

Sofie just broke down in tears and hugged Tessy, Tessy opened her mouth wondering what happened there but she just let Sofie cry in her arms and gently struck her hair.

"It's okay Sofie, it's okay, it will be all fine, okay." Tessy calmly said as Sofie disengaged from the hug, she wiped her tears and sniffed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know, I just want to cry that's all, I didn't mean to make you worried, I just...."

"It's okay, You don't have to explain anything, sit here, I will get you some water okay." Tessy cut her off, Sofie nodded and Tessy rushed to the kitchen and grabbed a jug and a cup of water and returned to the seating room, she handed the cup filled with water to Sofie.

"I...I signed the contract, I'm his wife now."

Sofie exclaimed and dropped the cup of water.

Tessy just watched her.

"It's funny how my life is getting worse every day, I mean, it happened at the same time I couldn't just process it, yeah I won't go to jail, I can pay up my Dad's dept and my Mom's medical bills but Asher, he is such a jerk, I don't even know what he thinks of me, he saw me as a cheap fraud and gold digger, I hate everything about him, and I hate everything about my life, my entire life sucks!" Sofie ranted.

"It's okay, I know that a lot has happened and you have gone through a lot but I want you to be positive, you can't give up, you have to be strong, you can fight through all of this, I promise you!" Tessy replied.

Sofie sipped the water and nodded.

"You are right, at least I can sleep in a good house, a nice bed, eat good food, so yeah, is not all bad right." Sofie smiled.

"That's the spirit baby girl." Tessy smiled too.

"He will come pick me up in the evening, we are officially getting married next tomorrow, he's taking me to his Mom's today." Sofie narrated.

"Awww, why am I already missing you, but you will be fine, trust me, he got the best Mom in the whole world wide, she is a very nice, Charming woman." Tessy exclaimed.

"I wish so." Sofie beamed.

*The shareholder's Committee meeting*

A group of eleven men all dressed in expensive black suits were seated patiently waiting for just one person.

Mr Asher.

"I don't even know why we are still waiting for him! He shows that he's too entitled and definitely doesn't deserve the contract!" A man scoffed angrily, he was looking glamorous and had an expensive watch, his hair was neatly done, he had an emerald eyes, cute big lips, brown hair, and a well-built body, his accent was thick, which made no one asked to know that he is an Italian, he is in his mid 30's. Jasper Del Villar, Mr Asher's biggest Rival in the tech industry.

Immediately after he said that, Mr Asher walked inside the meeting hall.

"I'm sorry I'm late." Asher apologized.

"Of course you are, why am I not surprised, though." Mr Jasper scoffed.

"You know, you can really mind your business if you can't ask why I came late."

Asher replied.

"I don't need to ask, because I know why you are, you just want to show everyone how foolish and entailed you are!" Jasper cursed.

"Wow, you know, I don't have time to exchange words with someone who literally forgets to take his psychiatrist's medicine."

Asher spat.

"I swear I will...."

"Enough! Can you both stop this! This always happens every time you both meet and that was why we had to do separate meetings with both of you because you can't stand each other! We are here to talk about the development of the tech industry and you are just wasting our time yelling and shouting showing how immature you both are! Do you think that there are no other companies that deserve this chance but it's given to you and you are misusing it!"

An old man yelled interrupting angry Jasper's statement, they both glared at each other before taking their seats.

"So, the reason why we gathered you both here is to decide on the right person who deserves this year's contract." The chief investor expressed.

"We are highly surprised at your level of creativity and innovations and we are proud that the two of you exist in this country, the tech industry is nothing without you both, and how I wish you both can get along for the betterment of all." He added.

"Mr Jasper Del Villar, you are working towards creating a dating site that can allow a guy and a lady to match make using body sensors right?" He asked.

"Yes, Mr Andrew, and they all will enable couples to connect to their right partners because it has a full options list of what the guy and the lady want if they match through hobbies, habits, and others." Jasper answered.

"That's great and really cool." Mr Andrew applauds.

"Thanks." Mr Jasper said and smirked at Asher.

"You welcome, and Mr Asher, your App will enable partners to fall in love through participating in different kinds of games and activities at different levels which at the end, the app, using a thump scanner and some gadgets will be linking to the app and will use the heartbeat to determine if the partners are able to fall in love or not." Mr Andrew stated.

"Yes, Mr Andrew." Asher replied.

"That's really good, and we definitely need an innovation like yours, so, we are voting, the one that gets the highest votes will win the contract." Mr Andrew said.

"I will definitely get it, I'm more mature than him." Jasper giggled.

"What's maturity without sense?" Asher scoffed.

"Please...not now!" Mr Andrew warned.

The voting started and since the investors were ten excluding Mr Andrew whose vote will be the final, gave five votes to Mr Jasper and Asher.

They both received five, five votes from five investors.

"You both have equal votes." Mr Andrew exclaimed.

"I only need your vote to win, I deserve this contract more than his dumb app, like games? Those people are not kids like he is."

Jasper said.

"Listen, Asher, Jasper, you both are good and we really wish we could sponsor You both but we can't, however, we are giving out this contract to the most mature one, and that is the one that has a wife or a fiancee."

Mr Andrew replied.

"And Asher, unfortunately... you don't have either of them." He added.

Jasper chuckled and adjusted his tie proudly.

He couldn't wait to see the failure look on Asher but to his surprise, he just laughed.

"Oh, I guess you haven't checked the internet right?" Asher asked.

"Yeah, why? What's there?" Mr Andrew asked back.

Asher pulled out his phone and showed a post to Mr Andrew, they all looked at him and gasped.

"You are...."

"Yes, I'm getting married, in two days."

Asher interrupted him.

"What! No way! No!!!!" Mr Jasper yelled.
