"You said it yourself! I hope you don't go back on your word!" Lucien sneers.

"I won't! Tell me what you want and I'll do it!"

"Break one of your wrists, then apologize to Mi amor just the same way you apologized to me!"

Chris pulls a long face. "Do I have to do that? Isn't there another way?"

"Eh? Did I hear you well? You are going to break your both wrists? How thoughtful of you! You sure know how to pay for your sins!"

"When did I say that?" Chris grimaces. "Perhaps you didn't hear me. I asked if I have to do that and if there isn't any other way!"

"Ah! You are going to break your ankles as well? I've never seen anyone as meek as you!"

Chris grits his teeth and sighs as he realizes Lucien is doing all that on purpose. "I guess I just have to do as he asked lest he adds more," he mumbles under his breath, saunters to his excavator, and picks up an iron baton.

He places his hand on the floo
