Chapter 2 The Club

Quiddox Club

At the club, the girls along with some other friends were drinking, dancing and having fun, when DJ Dodoskky paused the loud music and announced – “Happy people, hope you are having fun”

Club goers chorused – “Yeessss” 

The DJ went on – “We have a beautiful damsel, amongst us tonight, but note guys, she is not in distress and today happens to be her birthday, the next song is dedicated to her”. He paused for effect, played a whoop whoop sort of sound and said

"Happy birthday Danielle, you know you are one of my favorite humans, enjoy the song"

Danielle’s favorite song came on, and she screamed “Yass!” She started jumping up and down. She was gyrating to the song as she screamed – “You are the best Dodoskky” .

They were still dancing when some guys walked into the club. Danielle saw her boss amongst them and stopped dancing. She called the attention of Bibiana and Tokunbo and pointed towards her boss while talking to them.

Jayden was complaining to his friends that he doesn’t like noisy night life and he can’t wait to be on his way home to his warm blanket. But one of his friends was more interested in the girls that seem to be checking them out. He was happily saying they sure are getting some tonight when Jayden turned around, looked at the girls at the other side of the VVIP section and frowned – “That’s the foolish girl I just decided to fire today, the one in red.”

Deji aka Oluaye Yoruba demons was shocked– “Are you crazy? Are you mad? Are you blind? You fired that hot girl? Are your village people using your down yonder to blow the embers of celibacy?”

Bode laughing said – “Jayden na oga boss nah, e no de take nonsense, u know nah”

Jayden looking disinterested – “She is a spoilt brat that my father insisted I hire, she resumed on Wednesday instead of Monday with flimsy excuses, she doesn’t do anything right. She has barely spent three days when she left work today without any excuse or explanation, after I got the dismissal letter from the receptionist, I actually thought I shouldn’t be hasty with my decision, I thought it might be an emergency, but just look at her, she is here having fun”.

Deji still staring at Danielle –“I really don’t care what she does, but with a body like that and a fine face to boot. She can take as much off days as she wants. If she will be in my arms when she resumes I will get someone else to do her work”.

David that was just listening with a smile said- “Deji u too like woman, abeg call the bar man or one of the waiters lets enjoy ourselves”

Deji still looking at Danielle – "Jayden are you sure you want to fire her? Let me know if she needs a new job, I will hire her."

Bode shakes his head "Deji you are insatiable, you told me on the phone yesterday that you are with one Kemi, last weekend it was Judith, and now you are eyeing Danielle, you are truly the definition of scum"

Jayden eyes widened  – "Deji, you took Kemi home? Are you nuts? She told us that she is getting married next month"

Deji smiling – "Man, we are both adults and you know my keyword is consensual, she called me, from all her discussions it's clear that she wanted the D and I gave her the D, talking about how her fiance doesn't put the O in Orgasm, and she is tired of faking it blah blah blah"

David – "wait, which Kemi? The one from Suess Academy?"

Jayden – "That's the one, we met her at Dominoes and we just catch up for a bit, we exchanged numbers and barely a week later Deji is already hammering again" 

David laughing – "Deji you need deliverance, whenever we are reminiscing about Grade school you be like Kemi is the ugliest girl blah blah blah and now you are banging her, a month to her wedding

Deji feeling like some sort of King of the Bangs smirked proudly – "What to do? Girls are attracted to me like moth to flame, they want me, I want them, I warn them not to fall for me, they always come back for more, if I like them you know nah there will be a repeat but if I don't it's not gonna happen again, so how am I scummy?"

Bode curious– "How did your conversation even led to sex talks to actually doing the deed? Because I can't wrap my hands around it. She called and told you she wants to have sex with you?"

Deji– "Of course not, if you don't pick up the signals you will never know what women want, when a woman calls you after just reconnecting with you after about eighteen years and you only asked about her fiance and she was like, that one? He is there, I don't even know if I should continue with the wedding. I only asked why? What happened and she started talking about how the sex sucks. I said wow, if only he was me, you will shift the wedding forward and since then she calls everyday, she started from asking to give her tips to actually giving her the practicals. And I obliged" he shrugged.

Jayden looked at his naughty friend shakes his head – "You just cheated with a girl on a fellow bro you know. I have to remind you as always, use protection man. If your libido is too high then take something to decrease it"

Deji looked at him like he has gone crazy – "My libido is just right, yours my friend needs a boost, should I pick a girl for you? You know when we were younger girls flocks around you like flies to mangoes, but since you took up the cold CEO with a stern look aura, the girls are now scared to even approach you"

Jayden looked at Deji with eyebrow raised –"My libido doesn't need a boost yours is in overdrive and you really need to find a way to control yourself before you get yourself in trouble one of these days and as for girls getting scared of me, that's all in your head. They still approach me I just don't give them the green light anymore."

David smiling – "Those were the days, the girls can't stop following us around, everyone wants a piece of us, now Jayden is chasing them away with his stern face. If only they know that there is a softy behind the stern face, they will be here in droves. Or maybe we are just too old now"

Bode heard the last part and snorted– "Speak for yourself"

They all bursted out laughing.

Meanwhile...

Danielle was so excited – “Isn’t he hot?”

Tokunbo nodding her head in agreement  – “Sure is, hm hm I can see why your pants are wet girl. He is smoking, can I join the bet?.” sigh.

Bibiana looking at him said – “No you can't, it will be too obvious if 3 girls suddenly start pursuing him. Dee it’s a shame, you may or may not have lost your job, but the bet is still on, we don’t care if you still work there or not after all Jay Jay doesn’t work there too, so now you are both playing on even field”

Danielle smiling - “We will see”.

Tokunbo sighed - “This would have been the right time to make your moves, but girl, you don’t want to try your luck and make matters worse”.

Danielle smiling “I will take my chances” 

She was walking towards the guys, when she was stopped by a friend who just came in. “I am so sorry Dee, I hope I haven’t missed out too much” she held her hand and pulled her back towards the VVIP section.

Jayden stood up and decided to leave, he said his byes to his buddies. Deji looked at him with a little annoyance– “Man, you just like to dey spoil fun for us, when we land sef? And you don de waka, nawa for u o”

Jayden looked at him with a wide grin and said “No be you force me come? abeg I wan go sleep at least I don drink small nah?”

David squinted – “You took malt, that one na drink? No wahala sha, if Friday night out is not for you. We de come carry you next Saturday, there is a light get together at Bernard Resort. Be ready at 2pm”

Jayden replied –“Ok, I will try”

Bode raised his brow –“Try?”

Jayden sighed – “Ok, I will be ready, you guys nag too much”. He shook their hands while hugging them and left.

Danielle drunkenly watched him go – “He is so hot!” 

Mike asked –“Who is?”

Danielle pointed at him, looking at him lustfully. “He would have been the cherry on top of my cake this night, oh how I wish I could go home with him”

Tokunbo smiling – “Cool your horses, the only cherry you going to be getting Is probably your sack letter”

Bibiana laughing – “Toks don’t mind her, see the way she is looking at him as if she wants to swallow the guy. Let’s have fun please” They all started dancing again.

Meanwhile at the other side of the club Deji can't stop looking at Danielle, he picked up his champagne flute, he was about to make his way towards the girls when David shaking his head stopped him– "Deji, I don't think this is a good idea, if Jayden wants to fire her, he has a good reason, now it's ok if you want to date her, and I mean seriously but she is not particularly the kind of girl you get to mess with? She is Senator Savage's daughter. Bringing her into our circle as your girlfriend will be awkward but if you just want to mess with her don't do it."

Deji looked at David drunkenly – "She is an adult last time I checked and I won't force her to do anything, I am not a monster"

Bode cautioned him – "We know you won't force her, but whatever it is, wait until Jayden fires her and when she is not drunk, The Savages don't joke with her she is their lil princess"

Deji sat down in annoyance, rolled his eyes looked at Danielle lustfully and said– "She will fall for me, she is my next girl"
