TYLER.

Black, just like me, was fighting against himself to stop my fangs from elongating. And I couldn’t be more grateful for that. If Black was not doing this, I had no idea how to stop myself from doing it.

As soon as I was able to control my urge to mark her, I lowered my head, trailing kisses from her neck to her collarbone until I reached the valley of her breasts while my hands were skimming over her naked skin.

I let myself enjoy this moment. I had dreamed of touching and kissing her, worshiping every part of her body, and my emotions overwhelmed me.

More than the act of fucking, I was overly emotional that she was allowing me to do this with her. I knew Catherine was still a virgin and that she had saved herself for me.

“Tyler,” Catherine whimpered, her hands clutching my shoulders tightly as my tongue circled her erected nipple before I sucked it and bit it gently.

I slid my body up, taking her hands with me before pinning them over her head. A smug smirk crossed my f

Here's the second one.  I will be taking a break tomorrow and the day after because we are celebrating Midsummer. We are celebrating the longest day of the year (and since I live in the North of Sweden, the sun technically never sets here). It's 3 a.m., and there's still light outside my window. But it's a lovely celebration, and I want to spend it with my family. So I will be back on Sunday Night (or pastmidnight). THANK YOU FOR waiting and reading! And for all the gems!  P.S: I made some mistake over Ledger when I said he just turned 18. He is actually one year older than Catherine, so that part has to be changed. P.S: For reference on the Alpha Blood Circle and their parents, you can check the LAST chapter of UNDER THE MOONLIGHT (free chapter), it is updated there with their birth order💗

CATHERINE. “Wake up, sleepy head.” Tyler’s voice awoke me from my sleep. I had a good dream, but I knew reality was far better than it, so I forced myself to open my eyes despite the soreness I felt. And I was right — seeing him was far better than what dreams were made of. “Good morning, beautiful.” His smiling face welcomed me, and the warmth I felt intensified tenfold. We were still in the meadow. I fell asleep after Tyler took me twice for our first time together. And I had no idea what the time was, but it was still dark. Tyler was leaning against the tree while I sat sideways in front of him, his arms still around me. I was not the one to fall asleep while sitting, but maybe because I was too sore and tired, I eventually did, or perhaps because Tyler’s arms around me felt like home, like he was my personal bed. “Hi…” I kept my head tilted up. His lips found me, and pressed a kiss against my temple. “I know I should let you sleep, but the sun is about to rise. I want

TYLER. I didn’t see Catherine for the rest of the day. She was not at breakfast this morning, but I didn’t mind as I knew she was catching up on her sleep. However, I did check on her before I continued with my work, and we had been mind-linking each other throughout the day. And although we were just starting with this relationship, everything felt natural. It was like we’d been doing this our whole lives. Somehow, this was true, as Catherine and I had always been inseparable. The only difference was that we could finally tell each other what we felt for one another since there was no reason for me not to show or tell her I loved her. That feeling was enough to get me through the day. Jace didn’t work today as his and the Luna’s families were around, so Austin and I took charge, but there was nothing to worry about as it was the weekend. We just needed to ensure everything was in order after last night’s ceremony. It was almost time for dinner when I headed back to the packhouse.

CATHERINE.Time moved too fast, and before I knew it, four weeks had gone by since I came home. I moved into Tyler’s room on the second floor, but our room on the third floor was almost done. We had two regular rooms renovated and made one. Although I was only limited to shopping online for the furniture we needed, it was still an exciting experience for me. Tyler had been nothing but loving and supportive, as well as our whole family.Everything felt surreal, but even though I was thoroughly happy, I constantly feared that everything would be taken away and I would hit another rock bottom. But despite that fear, I didn’t let it deter me from moving forward. The last four weeks have given me many facts and realities: Tyler loved me, there was no doubt about it, as I felt and basked in it every single day; our families and friends would walk with us through all of this until I got Tyler’s mark in my neck; but the hardest one would always be, the reality that if I got mated to a rank

TYLER. Catherine launched at me. Her foot was about to hit my face, but I blocked it with one arm, shoving her leg away, and the temptress just made another turn in the air and landed perfectly on the ground. “You’re not fighting fair.” I chuckled, positioning myself for combat. “Who says everyone fights fair?” She half crouched on the ground and raised her balled fists as her eyes squinted. And as I expected, she came surging forward and threw jabs at me, which I dodged. I saw her right leg lift, and just when I was about to block it, she retracted it too fast and instead kicked using her left leg, which hit me on my back thigh. “Fuck me!” I groaned. It wasn’t painful, but she caught me off guard. “Yes. I will do that tonight. Don’t be too easy on me, Beta. I want my body bruised and sore.” She winked at me, and it made me chuckle. She was enjoying this. I was never easy on her when we trained. Gone were the days when I always handled Catherine with care during sparring. I was

CATHERINE.Tyler didn’t eat dinner with us and shut down his mindlink to me. From what I heard, he ate dinner with Austin at the warrior’s cafeteria.I knew Jace wanted to ask a question when he cornered me before I went to bed, but I acted as if I was not bothered and talked about something else. I was sure Tyler would come around, and there was no need to make a big fuss about it. But it was already midnight, and Tyler had not gone back to our room. I was annoyed with him earlier, but that didn’t mean I didn’t want to sleep beside him.‘Austin?’ I mindlinked my cousin, hoping he knew where Tyler was. I’d been trying to hear things from outside the bedroom, and there had been no movement the whole night, so Austin was probably not yet in his room.‘Hmmm…’ He replied.‘Is Tyler with you?’‘Yes, at the training building office.’‘Are you in a meeting or doing something?’‘We’re drinking. Just a few more, and we’re heading off to bed.’‘Is he upset with me?’‘He’s scared, not upset.’‘C

**FLASHBACK. Catherine - 15 years oldTyler - about to turn 18 CATHERINE. “So, what do you think?” Mom asked while I stood and stared at the view outside the window. I was in Dad’s office, as he and Mom wanted to ask about me joining them on their world tour after they stepped down as Alpha and Luna of the pack. “I’m not sure,” I answered softly, while my eyes focused on Tyler outside, who was fixing the engine or something in Austin’s car. He was in the parking space with Austin and my brother. “I thought you wanted to travel and see the world,” Dad said. “I want that…” I answered, but how could I tell them I wanted to do that with Tyler still around me? Three years would be too long to be away from him. What if he met someone he liked? What if he got used to not having me around? “But three years is too long, and I will miss my friends.” “But we’ve talked about this for a long time now. We will return home on your eighteenth birthday, so we can still throw you a big party a

TYLER. After the Alphas and Luna Amara left us, I took Andrew and Garrett to the playroom on the ground floor, just near the recreation room. Colton was not there, as the Luna said she would take him down once Catherine had met Garrett and Andrew. “How are you and Zoey?” I asked after a while. I was seated on the carpeted floor while Garrett was on his knees, crawling and playing with the toys I placed around us. “I guess we are okay.” He answered. He was sitting on the couch nearby. “Are you back together?” “No.” “I see. Are you dating someone?” “No. I don’t even have enough time for Garrett and being a Beta, so I have to put it in the backseat in the meantime.” He chuckled before he asked, “How about you? Alpha Lawrence said you and Alpha Jace’s sister are together.” “Yes, we are.” “Are you planning to claim her?” “Yes.” I looked at him, trying to gauge if there were any objections or loathing in his expression because I seemed to move on too fast, but there was nothing. “I

CATHERINE. “Maybe you both need to rest.” I heard Mom’s loud voice after I just untangled myself from Aunt Jenny’s grasp. Aunt Jenny was a former female warrior from our pack and one of my Mom’s best friends. She moved to the Silver Moon Pack after she met her mate but remained close to our family. She was one of the godmothers I was lucky to have. She came two days ago, and we’d been doing non-stop combat training since then. And this will be my last session before the Claiming tomorrow. All was set, and I wanted to believe I was already prepared for the Claiming. I already had the blue gown I chose to wear when Tyler claimed me in front of the Council. Jace also ensured the Alpha Circle would be there to help us if needed. Cyrus will be the last to join us in the arena, as we didn’t want the Council to be suspicious as he was Tyler’s cousin. Arlo, Aunt Jenny’s son, Zach’s Beta, had wanted to help, but with everything going on in their pack, he was in no position to leave, a

My mother was an ordinary she-wolf mated to a human, making me a half-breed. After my father's untimely death when I was fourteen, my mother and I left the human territory and sought shelter in a new pack. But with both of them gone, I struggled to fit into a world full of shifters without a wolf. I already knew from the very beginning that I was more human than a werewolf. So the moment I turned eighteen, I packed my bags, thanked the couple that took me in, and moved out of the Black Shadow Pack to start my own adventure somewhere else. And just when I found my peace and purpose in human territory, the world of shifters came knocking on my door, ready to create havoc in the guise of my hot "so-called stepbrother," Austin.

THREE YEARS FROM THE CLAIMING (continuation of The Betas’ Day Out, Chapter 129 of this book). ALICE. “You are fashionably late!” Catherine said, giggling. She kissed my cheek before she took my almost two-year-old daughter, Ayesha, from my arms and cuddled her, whispering sweet nothings to her as I hugged the rest of the Beta females and Lawrence’s Luna. While my mate went directly to the males huddled on the other side of the room. We were invited to the Dark Crows Pack for Garrett’s third birthday, but we passed by Roan’s territory so we could convoy with them going in here. But he had an urgent thing that needed attention, so Joshua helped him first before driving here. But we notified them ahead of time, so Catherine was just teasing us when we arrived. After Joshua and I got mated, Catherine and Tyler introduced us to the other Betas that were on the same ground as us on the Claiming, which changed all our fates. We met Beta Brandon and Vicky of the Red River Pack, Beta

A YEAR AFTER THE LAST CHAPTER. JOSHUA. I stood beside Gamma Julius as we discussed the final security instructions for Alice’s baby shower tomorrow. We didn’t have many guests, mostly Alphas and their Lunas, so we had to be strict. I didn’t want this event to be the reason for us to be shunned if anything happened to any of the Lunas while they were in our territory. Alice was already in her seventh month of pregnancy, and Nikka insisted on throwing a baby shower for her. It would just be a formal lunch and a small get-together after that. The people she wanted to be here were all invited. Who would have thought that Amara and Jace would be entering our territory tomorrow? It took a while before Amara and Alice became comfortable with each other, but it finally happened. And I could only look back at all the stupid things I did and said to Amara, but I was glad that she and Jace both gave me and Alice a chance to be better and to make up for the way we acted toward them.

JOSHUA. “We did it. We did it, Luna Alice….” I mumbled back at my mate while pecking her forehead. The day we had been waiting for finally came. Dad decided to give me the pack even before my 20th birthday. I guessed my refusal to back down about Eugene, and my ignoring Mom’s tactics opened his eyes to the fact that I was ready to leave this pack anytime. And with no one to pass the title on, it terrified him, especially when he realized the people were more comfortable doing business with me than him. Or simply because he was already tired. The arrogance in his eyes had been long gone. And I seldom hear him raise his voice. Eugene leaving the territory started the spreading of news that he was the Luna’s son but not the Alpha’s. Even in modern society, this is still frowned upon. The Alphas could have many pups, but the Lunas were supposed to be perfect. And if I were not who I was at this point, I would probably be on the side of the people mocking my own father for this. Th

FIVE MONTHS LATER. JOSHUA. The days turned into weeks. And then into months. But we never got the answer we were looking for. River was still nowhere to be found. The CCTV footage of her in the train station showed she went inside a train heading for Atlanta. On the same day, some of my men went to that city. My father didn’t want to spend any dime looking for River, and since I had no jurisdiction to give orders to our trackers, I was not able to seek assistance from them. Cyrus, however, extended his help again and sent his own trackers to do the job. And so did Roan and Kairo since their packs were nearest to Atlanta. But even with them and their friends helping us and using their own resources, we couldn’t find her. Like she just vanished into thin air. Alice had gone to her room the day after she left and checked if she left any clues, but there was nothing telling us where she had gone. She saw Cyrus’ calling cards in the trash bins, and she told him about it. And I

LADY RIVER. I didn’t know I had fallen asleep on the train ride to Bernice City. I was grateful the female from whom I bought the ticket woke me up and told me we were approaching the station where I needed to get off. After making sure everything I had in my bag was still intact, I took my aunt’s address out and asked her if it was a long way from the station. She told me I needed to take a bus to get there. I was left with no choice but to tell her I couldn’t read and that I might end up somewhere far from this place. Her eyes softened as she grabbed a pen from her pocket and ripped a piece of paper from her notepad. She began to draw something out of it before she handed it to me. “When you get out of here, you will see a red building. Cross that street to get there. And in the direction where a colorful rainbow arch is, head in that direction. Follow that sidewalk. Just continue forward. You will pass three corners. On the fourth corner, turn left. Here.” She pointed at the

ALICE. I couldn’t believe it was possible for a pack to hate a future Beta as much as this pack hated Eugene. Joshua put him in the middle of the quadrangle and ordered two whips on his back before he asked his warrior to tie him up on the post. He told him he would remain there all night until he denounced the pack. I knew Joshua could force his father to banish him, but I also knew Joshua wanted to put him there for the whole pack to see. Before we departed, Joshua commanded his men to guard him and inform him once he denounced the pack. But he allowed everyone to throw a punch or two if they wanted. In the beginning, no one was coming near Eugene. Until we were informed by one of the warriors that there were two females, clad in a big hoodie and long black skirt, who came and threw a punch at him. Those females didn’t want to be identified but surely wanted to do that. Joshua told them to just let them and to never block anyone from approaching him. So, aside from these t

ALICE. My coiled fist connected with his jaw. I had punched several men in my lifetime, but I was sure I had never hit anyone as hard as I hit Eugene. After Kenneth told us in what state he found Eugene and River, I knew that there would never come a time when I would forgive him. Ever. Of all the females to assault, he chose River — someone who was too good for anybody. Rage was ruling my whole body, and I acted without thinking. As soon as my fist hit him, a loud growl erupted from his throat, and even though he staggered back, he was able to gather his footing right away. And before I knew it, he was launching at me. “You, mother fucker!” He roared, his arm stretching back with his hand balled into a tight fist. He was planning to hit me back. My eyes widened, and even if I wanted to scream, no sound left my lips. But I saw a figure pass me, and the next thing I saw was Joshua lunging at Eugene. His hand snaked around his neck before he slammed his body to the ground. A lo

RIVER. “Again, who told you that you get to decide?” He growled lowly before I heard him unstrap his belt, and fear coursed through my whole body. He was starting to unzip his pants when I finally had the courage to move myself. My hands pushed his stomach away as my feet kicked his knees. He staggered backward, and I took the opportunity to run, but he was fast. He caught my hair and slammed my body against the hood of his car. In no time, he was hovering over me. His eyes were dilating, and if looks could kill, I would be dead already. “Please let me go!” I shrieked. My hands were on his chest, trying to stop him from leaning closer. “After you fucking flirt with me, you will leave me hanging? Can’t you feel how hard my cock is already? You need to finish what you fucking started, whore!” I tried to push him, but I couldn’t move as my feet were caged in between his thighs, and I could feel his erection against mine, but before he could dip his face into mine, I saw a hand gra
