Chapter 21-Work together

Travis carefully observed the woman standing infont of him. He expected her to sign the contract but she was too early.

“I’m sorry if I came here early.” Shaina smiled at the young man but she felt uncomfortable by the way the man was looking at her.

“Have a seat.” Travis responded formally before motioning for the assistant to exit. “So, are you fine working with your cousin?” Travis asked, making sure.

“Yes, of course, sir!” She quickly answered the young man and for a moment she was staring into his strange eyes. The feeling of nervousness in her chest was there again for an unknown reason.

“Then, congratulations and good luck!”

Shaina accepted the contract she was going to sign. Right after she signed, the man shook her hand. The familiar warmth that came from his palm was rise again, so she was stunned for a moment. If the assistant hadn’t knocked, Travis wouldn’t have been able to let go of the girl’s hand.

“Sir, Miss Angeline Monreal is here.”
