Book 4: Chapter 18-I miss you

“I have to go back to work, do you have another way?” Jade asked her friend, half an hour later.

“I’ll be here first. I want to go for a walk while I’m here.”

Jade nodded to her friend. She ruffled her hair a little before standing up and leaving her.

When her friend was gone, Trisha glanced at Cyril again. He’s busy working in front of the laptop. Jack was right, the young man didn’t seem to want to be disturbed by what he was doing. He didn’t even approach her earlier, like he often did since he set foot in this place. It seemed that he had never met her or she had no value in him when their eyes met earlier. She also couldn’t think that he was following her because he was there first.

“Ma’am, maybe you can feed him?”

She was startled in her seat when someone suddenly spoke next to her.

“I’m sorry if I surprised you. I should have approached you earlier to ask.” Jack smiled shyly at the girl.

Trisha thought for a moment before taking the paper bag the man was holding. She looked
