Book 3: Chapter 45-The return

Adrian couldn’t contain his joy when he finally heard his wife’s soft voice again. He almost didn’t want to blink for fear that he was only missing what he saw and heard.

“W-water...” Sunshine repeated. She felt she needed to drink a bucket of water to quench her thirst.

Only then did Adrian seem to come to his senses and quickly opened the small bottle of water and filled it with a straw.

“Son, it’s just a little, and it might not be good for her,” Shaina reminded Adrian while happily watching them.

Adrian let his wife three sips of water, and he kept the bottle away from her. He smiled while she frowned. He knew she was still thirsty. But he had to follow the doctor’s advice. He is afraid that she will get a new disease again.

“Love, thank you, and you’re finally back. I miss you so much!” He kissed her forehead before caressing her cheek.

“Where am I?” her voice was still hoarse. She looked around, and it was not familiar to her.

“Honey, you are here at the hospital.” Shaina g
