"Hey, babe," Jasmine called from the bathroom.

"Yeah?" I answered, neck deep into work.

It had been freaking long days since our victory in the court case, and everything seemed peaceful... Like back to the days there was never a Sebastian, and I only hoped that it would remain that way all of my lifetime.

"Have you noticed Ezra lately?" She stepped out of the bathroom as her footsteps got louder.

I was working on the website I was building and barely glanced at her. She had an awkward smirk on, so I suspected that we were on the same page when it came to Ezra.

"What do you mean?" I scoffed like I was absolutely ignorant. I only hoped that he wouldn't return home one spring break with a basket full of his cubs.
