Maila's POV

I slowly walked to the open balcony, ignoring the pain I felt throughout my body, and stood there looking at the sky. My throat was painfully dry, and my body was sweaty.

So, I was back to the hellhole Lillian and I hated? It really was funny.

When I looked at my pale hands, I sighed softly. On my wrist, there was a diamond bracelet that I had never seen.

"Witch, hand me a mirror," I said huskily while I moved my hands to my ears to touch the earrings there.

"I have a name, Lillian. I'm called Edith," she answered.

"I am not Lillian," I whispered.

She was still calling me by that name when she already knew I wasn't her. Lillian was quiet and trying to accept our harsh fate. She couldn't believe how we were drowned just like that because we were weak, but what troubled me was how I felt now.

I felt power and strength I had never felt before back then when we were still alive.

I tensed when I heard light footsteps approaching me and the disgusting scent that made me nauseous
