Nora’s POV

"Don't go." I said and pulled him beside me on the hospital bed. I didn't want him to go, and I wanted to have him right now.

I looked into his blue eyes and grabbed his hand, resting it on my waist. "We have been waiting for this moment for a long time, why are you suddenly hesitating? Is there something you are not..." He cut me off with a kiss before I could finish my speech, his lips muffling my words and his hand sliding under my shirt, caressing my back. I moaned and arched into him, loving his touch.

He broke the kiss, looking into my eyes. "You are going to regret not letting me go," he said those words like a promise, his voice as smooth as velvet.

"I am not." I replied. "I have wanted this for a very long time, don't think about tomorrow, don't worry, just stay." I didn't want him to overthink.

He looked at me and sighed. He removed his clothes one by one, revealing his sculpted body, and I was lost for a second, his abs flexing as he bent and removed his pan

Alpha George’s POV The rain was pouring down like a waterfall, drenching everything in sight. I got out of my car and slammed the door shut, feeling the cold water seep into my clothes and skin. I didn’t need an umbrella, I was an alpha and I could handle a little water. “Brother, wait!” Jack shouted from behind me, running after me with an umbrella over his head. “You need this.” I snatched the umbrella from his hand and threw it away. It landed on the wet ground with a splash. “An alpha doesn’t need an umbrella. I need to show strength and confidence if I want to get the information I need.” Jack heaved a sigh and followed me to the gate of the Stormchaser pack. He knew better than to argue with me. We were here to collect the information on the pack members because the beta refused to give it to him after I didn’t show up to the meeting. I banged on the gate with my fist, making a loud noise that echoed in the rain. A small door opened, and a guard wearing a raincoat peeked ou

Nora’s POV“It is safe now you can come out, they are gone.” I whispered, holding the blanket to my chest. I felt exposed and vulnerable, lying on the hospital bed. I ran my hand through my messy hair and heaved a sigh."Thank goodness," Zane breathed, crawling out from under the bed. He looked around, making sure no one was watching. He started putting on his clothes, as if nothing had happened. "What did they want?""They were happy I found the claw killer's lair. They said they doubled the security. They think he might come after me." I told him, shivering at the memory."That's good. You need to be careful, doll. We both know he is very dangerous." Zane said, buttoning his shirt. He leaned over and kissed me softly on the lips. "You are a brave and amazing doll. The sex was great. I enjoyed it. It’s like nothing I have ever experienced. You were so good with the tongue and everything."He was about to kiss me again when his phone rang. He took it out of his pants pocket and lo

Nora’s POV The note and the bloody hand fell from my grasp, as if they were burning, with a loud thud. The blood stained my fingers and the carpet. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I recognized the handwriting, it was that bastard Thomas’s. A scream came out of my lungs. I screamed so loudly that I felt my lungs would burst. I couldn’t breathe. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I clutched my heart and fell to the floor. The door burst open, and my four bodyguards in black suits rushed in, guns drawn and ready to shoot anyone in sight. They had a confused look on their faces like they had failed to protect me from danger. “What the fuck is going on?!?” one of them shouted, scanning the office for danger. "Ma'am, are you okay?” Another one inquired. They surrounded me and tried to calm me down. But I was hysterical. I pointed at the hand and the note, hoping they would understand. I tried to say something, but only gasps and sobs came out. One of them picked up the bloody ha

Nora’s POV I unlocked the door and pushed it open, ushering my sons inside. They followed me, still lugging their school bags. I kicked off my shoes and flipped on the light switch, illuminating the living room. They pestered me with questions about dinner and Zane, but I tuned them out. I was lost in my thoughts, struggling to hold back the tears that were burning in my eyes. I couldn’t let them see me break down at the thought that Alpha George might be looking for us because he wanted them back, not after all I fucking went through to take care of them. I blinked away the tears and kneeled in front of them, squeezing their hands. “…Boys, we need to pack our bags and get out of here. Now.” They stared at me with confusion and fear in their gray eyes. They bombarded me with questions: why we had to leave, what was happening, and where we were going. I wished I could tell them everything, but I couldn’t, not now, not when I had lied to them their whole lives that they didn’t have

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 35 THE ANGRY MOB

Nora’s POV Continuation of flashbackI clutched my sons to my chest as the cab driver drove through the Stormchaser pack after I left the Wolfsong pack. I had heard this pack was more tolerant of outsiders, but I still felt nervous. I had been turned away by so many shelters in the Wolfsong pack, where I had hoped to find a safe place since it was Alicia’s father's pack, but they had no room for a single mother with no mate, money, or connection. I had spent the last few nights at saunas, where I could pay a small fee to use the showers and the beds. But it was not enough, I needed a place to call home and to raise my sons. I had saved up enough money to rent a small apartment with the money George insulted me with. The apartment was in a poor neighborhood, it was a place where only rogues and omegas lived, a place where no one cared about your status or past. During the day, I dropped my sons off at a daycare while I went to work at a bar as a waitress. The apartm

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 36 WHERE SHE LIVES

Alpha George’s POV Anger bubbled up inside my head and into my throat. I stared at the employee in disbelief, feeling veins throbbing in my neck. How dare Nora claim not to know me? After all I went through to find her? “Look, buddy, I don’t know what you are talking about,” the employee said, putting his phone back in his pants pocket. He tried to push past Jack, who was standing next to me. “I just work here, okay? I don’t have anything to do with Nora or her kids. I am just a colleague, not even a friend.” Jack blocked his way, his face stern and serious. He grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Listen, you don’t fucking get it, do you? This is George, the alpha of the Darkfire pack. He is Nora’s mate and the father of her twins, he has been looking for them for over a decade, ever since she ran away with his kids.” The employee’s eyes widened, and he looked at me with a mix of fear and awe. A gasp escaped from his lips, and his mouth fell open. “No way,” he whispered. “Y-You

Alpha George’s POV I slammed my fist on the door, ringing the doorbell over and over again. Jack went to the windows of the apartment, peering inside. He shook his head slowly and said, “There is no one home, she left with the kids.” My heart sank at the thought that Nora had run away after hearing that we were coming. Rage started boiling from my feet and made its way upward, and I punched the door again, harder this time. The wood cracked under my blow, but the door didn’t budge. I let out a primal scream and collapsed on the floor in front of the door, burying my face in my hands. “She ran away with our sons, and whose fault is that, George?” Knight asked in anger. “We shouldn’t have let that fucking employee call her,” I said, my voice muffled by my palms. “I don’t think she has anywhere else to go, she will be back with the kids, I am sure of it. We just have to wait.” I leaned my head against the door and wrapped my arms around my chest to warm myself. The cold night air w

Nora's POV Back to present....I felt a sharp sting on my arm and jerked awake. I looked at the tiny red spot on my skin and cursed under my breath. “Fucking mosquitoes.” They were everywhere in this cheap motel room, buzzing around and biting us mercilessly. My eyes drifted to my sons, who were sleeping next to me on the small bed. They were covered with red welts and scratches, and they tossed and turned in their sleep. My face contorted in anger and guilt. How did we end up here? I pulled the thin blanket off me and draped it over them, tucking it around their bodies. It was barely enough to cover them both, let alone me. I got up and walked to the window, hoping for some fresh air. But all I saw was a dusty parking lot and a neon sign that flickered “Motel.” The sun was already rising, casting pale orange light over the horizon. It was morning, but it felt like night. I leaned against the window and felt hot tears well up in my eyes. I thought of Zane, I h

AUTHOR’S POV A year later, A year had passed since Nora lost Leo, bringing her to this moment, seated in the dressing room, staring at herself in a wedding dress. Mrs. Williams, who had once been a wicked mother, now stood before her, offering jewels as tokens of acceptance and regret. The nightstand was filled with daily gifts from her and her husband, each one a silent plea for forgiveness. Nora’s gaze lingered on the jewels, her voice soft but strong. “I cannot accept these anymore,” she remarked. “Like I said before, I have already forgiven you a long time ago. These gifts aren’t necessary.” Regret formed a jagged rock in Mrs. Williams's stomach, and emotion flickered across her face. “These gifts are my punishment,” she declared. “I did a lot of awful things in the past, and I forgot that love doesn’t care about social status. The moon goddess herself would agree to that; that is why she made you my son’s mate. And no one is more suited for him than you.” The knock at the do

AUTHOR’S POV The dark hall was covered in shadows and sorrow, a sea of black clothing as mourners gathered to pay their final respects. Nora stood by Leo’s grave, her hand trembling as she placed a lily on top of the polished wood of his coffin. Leo’s parents, their faces covered with grief, stood beside her, each adding their own floral tribute. Nora turned to them, but her eyes pointed at the ground, the guilt still weighing on her. She dropped to her knees and whispered, “I’m the reason your son is gone. I took him away from you. If he hadn’t saved me, he would still be here.” But Leo’s parents would hear none of it. His mother lifted Nora gently, her voice soft yet firm. “No, honey. It was not your doing. It was the will of the moon goddess, and our son chose to save you.” His father added, “You must live for him now. Make his sacrifice meaningful.” A smile lit up his broad face, softening his harsh features. Overwhelmed by their kindness, Nora felt a tear streak down her fac

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 148 THE FIGHT

AUTHOR’S POV The afternoon sun streamed through the open windows, brightening the inside of the lab. Nora sat on the makeshift bed of clothes, her stomach growling in protest as she awaited George’s return with food. Jack busied himself with the windows, letting in light to compensate for the lack of electricity. Nora’s voice broke the silence. “Jack, where did you and George disappear to for all those months? And why did you guys make everyone think you were dead?” A masculine chuckle escaped his lungs. “We didn’t fake our deaths, Nora.” He said, shaking his head. “It was a bizarre twist of fate. We were attacked on our way out of the pack, and now that I think about it, the attacker was probably Dante.” Her mind raced through a thousand questions and possibilities. “That does make sense. Dante would want George out of the way to make kidnapping the kids easier. He must have seen him as a threat.” She muttered and frowned a little. “I still can’t believe George left the pack behi

But the cold was relentless, and soon the heat that followed was just as unbearable. Discomfort climbed up her spine, and heat scorched her skin. “I know you have a boyfriend, but we are in our heat period, and he is not here. You will have to ask your mate for help.” Ariana suggested in her head. “How can you suggest such a thing? If I ask him for help, he will have to have sex with me. And I can’t... I am with Leo now, and I can’t cheat on him,” she replied, with emotion roughing the syllables. “I know you don’t want to cheat on him. But this is a matter of life and death, you will die if you don’t let him help.” Ariana said in a sad tone. “I…I can’t. I just can’t. I know how much it hurts to be cheated on, I have been there a f

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 146 WANTED

AUTHOR’S POV The day dawned crisp and clear as the sun poured through the streets. Alicia stormed into the grocery store, her presence as chilling as the ski mask that covered her face. The assault rifle in her grip was not just a weapon, but a representation of her desire to kill. “Put your hands where I can see them,” she hissed at the store owner, who obeyed with a tremble. “Please don’t kill me, I just opened, I haven’t earned any money!” He pleaded, but his plea for mercy fell on deaf ears. A cold laugh escaped Alicia’s throat and echoed in the cramped space. “I don’t want your money, old man, I just need to grab some supplies.” She replied and obtained a coil of rope from one of the shelves. She kept the man caged in the sights of her rifle as she closed the distance. “Stay here and don’t make a sound, if you try to act smart, I will have no option but to kill you,” she threatened as she used the rope to tie his hands behind him, securing him to the shelf like a display of h

AUTHOR’S POV In the dimly lit villa, Mrs. Williams’s entrance was as fast as lightning, her flip-flops discarded as she stopped at the sight of her husband. Mr. Williams looked up, a dark smile playing on his lips, shadowed by the room’s gloom. “These are petitions I gathered from the pack members. I’m securing our son’s legacy; I am no longer turning my back on him,” he replied, sincere regret laced in his voice as he looked her in the eyes. “I shouldn’t have... I shouldn’t have supported the council. Rick must be Alpha again. I cannot let our line fade; after all, I went through it to keep it in our family.” She shook her head, her hand darting out to seize the document from his grasp. “Stop this madness,” she begged, her voice rising. “You are losing yourself in this grief. Guards hustled across the yard, their faces covered with concern, while the urgent wail of alarms pierced the air. He watched closely as two guards emerged, dragging a protesting couple out of the prison’s grand gates. “Come back another time! Visiting hours are over!” One guard barked, tossing the woman’s bag to her feet with a dismissive flick of his wrist. The woman, her face painted with frustration and desperation, clutched her bag tightly. “Why are you being so unfair? Visiting hours end at 10 p.m., and it’s only 7 p.m.,” she pleaded, her voice cracking. “I haven’t seen my niece in ages! AUTHOR’S POV The morning sun hit George’s face, and his heart was heavy as he paced through the studio. His hands carefully placed his personal items into a mini bag. The walls of the rooms whispered memories of laughter and learning, and though he was firm in his decision, a part of him mourned the awaiting goodbye to the children he had come to adore. The sound of footsteps snapped him back to reality. He peeked outside his room to see his boss walking purposefully towards the office. He took a deep breath and secured the zipper on his bag. A pit formed in his stomach as he grasped the resignation letter that lay on the nightstand. George entered his boss's office just in time to overhear a phone conversation about him. “Like I said earlier, it’s unprofessional for a teacher to date a parent of the kid he teaches.” His boss said in a serious tone. “I’m sorry, but no amount of money can make me help you. I respect the privacy of my teachers and stay out of their personal lives."

  • THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS   CH. 142 THE SHOWER

AUTHOR’S POV They stepped into the shower area, and the sounds of bare feet stepping on the tile were getting louder and louder as they made it under one of the shower heads. The shower area itself was just a single room, blocked by a small door. There was no cover between the five or six showers, so they both had plenty of space to mess around and get each other clean. The whole shower room was tiled, so the two would have to try hard not to fall over because of how slippery everything was. “I have always wanted to do this with someone, but I haven’t had a proper girlfriend in a long time.” His voice was silky as velvet. The guard pushed Alicia against the cold tiled wall, his body squishing up against hers. Her nipples were hard and almost carved into his chest, but he didn't care. Her breasts squeezed and contoured around his chest as they both continued kissing. Their legs were moving constantly, trying to find a good footing, before eventually finding a good rhythm.
