ASHER POV " Elias. What the hell am I doing here?" I croaked out not realizing how dry my mouth was. He walked into the room and poured me a glass of water and handed it to me. " We have been watching you from a distance. We knew that Wyatt was going to make a move on you so we were ready for it." Elias explained. " You said that you wanted to help us get Wyatt for what he did to Jack. So why the hell am I locked in a vampires den with silver chains around my ankle?" I asked. " Well, we know that Ivy is special. And right now we need her to think that Wyatt has you. We can't let her know that you're with us. I promise to you that we aren't going to kill you. And you will be reunited with Ivy. I promise you that. But right now, we can't have her coming after you." Elias says. " Why the hell not? She might go after Wyatt instead and get herself into trouble." I argue. " I don't expect you to understand. But Wyatt was coming after you. And it's best that he thinks you are dead
IVY POV When I got to the pack meeting that morning I had to get on the stage in the park, because there were too many people to hold it in the meeting hall anymore. And I stood in front of the microphone. I had given everyone enough time to get there and I was joined on stage by Zara, Elsie, William, Beau, Freya and Axel. So I was definitely not up there alone, and if I got into trouble then I knew that William would take over. He was the Alpha for 25 years, so he knew exactly how to hand situations like this. Actually, not every situation. Asher and I have dealt with so much more than what he had to deal with as Alpha. We usually joke about how easy he had it as an Alpha. But I knew that he would be able to help me through this. I was counting on him for this meeting. " Everyone, can I please have your attention?" I asked into the microphone and everyone was quiet. " Alright, I know that you've all heard rumours going around about Alpha Asher going missing. I am here to tell yo
I wake up in my bed still wearing the clothes I was wearing last night and last nights events started coming back to me. How Asher was lost and no one knew where he was or what direction he went in. He was completely gone and the scouts had to search with no scent and just on basic instinct. I was hoping that was enough. I sat up in bed and I walked over and locked the door and sat on the windowsill with a smoke. Someone knocked on the door but I didn't answer them. They juggled on the door handle but I still ignored them. " Ivy. It's Freya. Please let me in. You shouldn't be alone right now." Freya sang out from the other side of the door. But I just sat there staring out the window. I wanted Asher back. I wanted him here with me right now. Now I know how he felt every time I disappeared and was kidnapped. He was worried sick about me. I never thought that the tables would be turned. I really didn't think anyone would be able to get the best of Asher. But Wyatt certainly manage
'Elias! Is he working with Wyatt?" I asked. 'No. But he's keeping me sedated. He says that they need everyone to think that I'm dead. I don't know why. I don't know why he won't just let me go home.' Asher says. 'Do you know where you are?' I asked. ' No. I was unconscious when I got here. There's something else that you need to know. Wyatt doesn't want you dead. He's in love with you. He always has been but Jackson ordered them to shun you. He thinks that this is his chance to have you as his.' Asher says. 'Okay. I might be able to use that.' I say. 'Wyatt doesn't know that you're pregnant. That might anger him. Don't seek him out.' Asher demanded. 'I won't. But I might be able to use it in different ways.' I say. 'It's obvious that you are the one that needs to stop this.' Asher says. 'I know. Don't worry about us. No one is letting me out of their site. Except for when I lock myself in my room.' I chuckle dryly. 'Don't worry about me baby. I'm alive and I don't be
ELIAS POV When I arrived at Ivy's packhouse I noticed that there was a lot of commotion going on around the place. The main warrior Axel was getting his warriors prepared in front of the packhouse and Ivy walked out looking huge. I hadn't seen her in weeks and she had really shot out. " Hi Elias." She says with a beam to her step. " Hi. What's going on?" I asked walking up the stairs to her. " Our scouts finally found Wyatt's hideout. Their heading there now. We're going to get Asher back." She says. " Really? What if Asher isn't there?" I asked. " Axel has ways of making people talk." She says. " Oh my god. Well, that's great. He'll be back in time to see the birth of his twins." I say. " Yeah. That's all I've wanted. Just for him to come back home. Come on in." She says. So I follow her inside but I can't do anything to draw attention to myself right now. She was watching me and we went to the dining room where brunch was set up for us. We sat at the table and I could
AXEL POV As soon as I got the green light from Ivy I conveyed the message to my warriors and the vampires were outnumbered. I bought 40 warriors with me. So I got them all to split up and attack different parts of the house. As soon as we were all in position I gave the signal and we hit every door and window of the house all at once crashing through every entrey point. I let out a ferocious growl and all the vampires scrambled to their feet completely unexpecting us to attack. Why would they? They thought they had us fooled. I saw Elias and the girl come running out of a different room with another wolf right behind them. " What the hell is this?" Elias yelled. 'You thought you had me fooled Elias.' My voice echoed through the house for everyone to hear. " Ivy. Where are you?" He asked. 'Technically, still at my packhouse. Axel, I want Elias alive. I don't care about the others.' I commanded. And Axel turned to face Elias who backed up but was blocked in by another wolf th
I stayed by Asher's side most of the time that he was back that night and the following day but he was still unconscious. So after I got Connor to bed I went to have a shower and then I got dressed and I climbed into bed next to Asher. I was almost asleep when I felt something around my waist and I looked to see Asher wrapping his arm around me. I turned my head to look at him and his eyes were open with a smile on his face. " I think I like this landscape better." He says. " Asher." I say getting up as quickly as possible. " Yeah. Why do you always bring me to the garden if I knew that the bedroom was an option?" He asked. And I put my hands on his face. " Asher. Look at me. This isn't a dream. It's not a trick. This isn't a mind link." I say cupping his face and looking into his eyes. " What are you talking about?" He asked grinning stupidly at me. " You're home Asher. We found you. We found Elias' hideout and we bought you home." I say. He looked around a little bit
I was moved to a different room and I was lying on the bed when the doctor got there and he checked me out completely. He checked on the babies and made sure that they weren't in distress and made sure that their heartbeats were still doing really good. He told me that it was a close call but the babies are fine. And Beau told him what happened. " I can sedate him." The doctor says. " No." I snapped. " He's been sedated for the last four weeks. That's the problem. That's why he's like this. He doesn't know what's real and what's a dream. He just needs time." I demanded. " Alright. We won't sedate him. But it's too dangerous for you to be near him." The doctor says. " I am the only one who can calm him down. Everyone knows that. The bond between us is already weak. It's gotta get strong again and the only way that is going to happen is if I'm near him." I say. " He could kill you." Beau says. " Asher will never kill me. It doesn't matter what state he is in. He won't kill
I ran to Noah to make sure that he was still alive, and I let out a huge sigh of relief when I saw that he was still breathing. He was bleeding and he was injured, but he was alive. " I knew that was the only way to get you alone." Nick says from the door behind me. I turned around slowly and stood up. I was looking for a way out, but I couldn't get out. Not with Noah. I couldn't carry him. He was too big and heavy for me to carry. I was trapped. I wasn't leaving him here alone. " What did you do with Asher?" I asked. " You don't need to worry about him anymore. No one does." Nick smirked at me. " No." I screamed. " Well, you bought them here. You knew what I was. All this blood is on your hands." He says. " Why the hell would I ever want to have anything to do with you? Asher and Ivy are the only ones in this world that have never treated me like shit or tried to use me for my powers. I know that you were going to." I yelled as tears were falling down my face. " Are yo
It only took about half an hour to run to the house while in wolf form because we cut through the woods and we were really fast. It was fun running in wolf form though. I loved it. But when the house came into sight I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. The house was huge. Almost like a mansion but luckily it had a huge yard, because there were other houses next to it. We didn't want civilians getting hurt. And no one said anything about evacuating civilians. So Asher wasn't going to tell the neighbours what was going on. I guess he didn't want to tip Nick off as to what was happening. I looked up at the house and all the windows were blacked out and the sun was just starting to appear but it was still dark. So I shifted back and I quickly got dressed. Noah shifted back for a moment and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him to kiss me. " I love you." He says. " I love you too. I'll see you soon." I say. And I started walking to the house. As soon as I got to the front doo
My life was compeltely different from what I knew it as. My days were spent with Ivy training with my powers and training how to fight. She was an awesome teacher and I'm glad that I got her instead of the warriors. She was tough on me but she wasn't insanely tough like the other instructors were on the trainees. Noah and I weren't seeing too much of each other. He was going to school and then working after school but we still managed to have dinner together at night and we tried to watch a movie or something to have a bit of time together. Ivy told me that was important. To make sure that we spent as much time together as possible. I guess she knows that from experience. I've heard all the stories of her being kidnapped and going missing and even Asher. They were horrific stories to me and I couldn't do that to Noah. I wanted to make sure that I spent as much time together with him as possible. I knew that they were already making plan to attack Nick's hideout but they were wa
As soon as we got the news that we knew where Nick was staying then Ivy was right on top of me about getting control of my powers. We needed me to learn how to control my powers so I don't hurt the people around me and I only hurt the people I intend on hurting. So she took me to the training grounds that she reserved just for us and we sat on the ground and crossed our legs. " Now, with powers like this meditation is the key to being able to control what you are going to do." Ivy says. " I've never really been one to meditate." I say. " It's concentration. You need to concentrate on what you are doing. Meditation is the key to doing that. You need to learn." Ivy says. " Alright. I'll try." I say. I've always had trouble meditating because there's always too much crap going on inside my head. I know that I need to give it a chance, but I can never calm my mind down long enough for it to actually work. I closed my eyes while sitting on the ground and I took a couple of deep
Every morning Ivy was working me like a dog at training and Noah and I had also started going to school in the pack. We were meeting new kids from the area and it was good to have kids that we at least had something in common with. Noah made friends easier than I did, but at least he never left me alone or anything like that. His friends became my friends and I didn't really mind that. I always seemed to get along better with guys then with girls. And I could tell that a lot of girls were starting to hate me for it. But I didn't really care. It wasn't my fault that I wasn't a girly girl. I was actually surprised that she-wolves were like that. They cared too much about clothes and make up and all the same stuff that regular girls cared about. But that stuff never interested me. And I think it put them off a little bit. But I knew that as long as I had Noah then I would be alright. He had been my lifeline for so long and I guess that wasn't going to change now that we're in this pa
The whole walk back to the packhouse was quiet. No one talked but I was fully aware of how close Ivy and Asher were behind me. They were angry with me. I knew that they were angry with me. I should have told them the truth from the start but I didn't think I had any choice. I had to keep it to myself. Noah was in danger. When we got to the packhouse I noticed that the living room light was on and when I walked inside Noah ran over to me and hugged me. " What the fuck do you think you were doing?" Noah snapped at me while still hugging me. I could actually feel how angry he was. And he was letting me know. That was a lot better than Ivy and Asher. They weren't yelling or screaming or punishing me. They were just quiet. It was really nerve wracking. I knew that they would never trust me again. They didn't have a reason to. I kept a huge secret from them and they needed to know the truth about vampires coming back to their territory. But I thought I would be leaving with them and
That night I didn't get very much sleep at all. I was tossing and turning all night until I finally got up and I went downstairs to the kitchen to get a drink. That's where I bumped into Ivy. She was down there giving the baby a bottle. " I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt." I say. " What are you talking about? It's the middle of the night. I welcome the intrusion at this time of night." She says. And I chuckle. " I just came to get a drink. I can't sleep." I say getting a bottle of water out of the fridge and I sat at the kitchen island next to her. " I can imagine. Tonight was pretty massive for you, wasn't it?" She asked. " Yeah. It was." I say. " I know that things haven't been easy for you. I get that. I know exactly how that is. I grew up knowing my father but I didn't actually know that he was my father. He was the Alpha of my old pack and he raped my mother when she was 14. She got pregnant with me and she was shunned by the whole pack. He ordered the pack to ha
It was clear that we weren't starting school today because school was cancelled. Too many people were concerned about the safety of their children. Apparently this pack has met day walking vampires and didn't want to risk it in case any might be on the land. So we just sat around the packhouse and I was lost in thought for most of the morning while we were sitting in the living room and I saw the kids running around everywhere. All of the kids. Quinn and Patrick included. They really did look like they had ADHD but they were just werewolf kids when Ivy came into the room and their kids ran over and jumped on Ivy. " Regan. The meeting is happening tonight. He insisted that you be there. But there will be a lot of protection so they won't be able to try anything while you're here." Ivy explained. " Where will the meeting take place?" Noah asked. " At the boarder." Ivy replied. " Outside? Really?" I asked nervously. " Trust me. You'll be alright. We will have warriors surro
When we landed at the airport we had to get into more cars that were waiting for us but it was just a short drive to the Blue Moon Pack. I heard that's what they called themselves. " Oh my god. I knew that you owned a large pack, But I never imagined it would be anything like this." Noah says looking out the window. We saw people around everywhere. The town was bigger than his pack town. And as we kept driving we saw three different training grounds with hundreds of warriors training in each other them. Noah was amazed but I was a little terrified. I didn't know what to think. " It's good to be home." Ivy says from the front seat of the car. " Tell me about it. I hope my brothers haven't set fire to anything while we were away." Asher says. " I don't think your brothers are the ones that we need to worry about anymore. I hope the kids didn't set fire to anything while we were away." Ivy says. " Oh yeah. I forgot about them." Asher says. And Ivy hit him in the chest. " I'
