Chapter 3: ALL EYES ON THE NEW GIRL

Crystal's pov

So this is Black Hill high, believe it or not but this school was named after the pack here and Plus it's on a hill. So first things first, the principles office. I go there and find a petite blonde dressed in a black dress and heels. By the way she smells I can tell that she's a wolf as well.

"Good morning, you must be Crystal."

"Yes I am, good morning."

"Well Crystal welcome to black hill high, here's your schedule, map, locker number and code. Do you need someone to show you around ?" "No thanks, I'll manage on my own."

"Ok you can go to your first class room 207D, oh and Crystal... don't make any trouble for the humans please" "Noted." And just like that I left her office.

On the way to class, a lot of people were staring at me, I wasn't uncomfortable or anything... I'm used to stares by now because of school back home. I just ignore them and open my locker put my stuff in and leave the ones I'll be needing for first and second period. Then head straight for class.

There's already a teacher in their so I knock and hear him say come in.

Deep breath...

I open the door and go in, everyone is staring... no glaring at me (no shocker there). I just give the teacher my papers and look at the board and realise that I already aced this topic back at home. I just smile to myself until the teacher brings me back to reality. "Well welcome, introduce yourself to the class and have a sit there."

I face the class, a little bit nervous but Enara (pronounced Anara) told me...more like shouted at me to man up.

"Hey, my name is Crystal and am from the black moon pack. Visiting my aunt here in Arizona. That's it." I go and sit down before anyone talks but all eyes are on me.

"Well miss Swan that was quite a short intro, but let us continue."

And that was my queue to start drawing. I was not giving it my full attention cause the guy right next to me kept staring at me. I sigh out of frustration, close my book and look at the person who's staring at me.

"What are you looking at?"

"Am sorry, but I don't understand."

" I mean you keep looking at me, what's up?"

"Oh it's just that I don't think you should be sitting there."

"And why's that?" "It belongs to someone."

"Did he come with it from home, or have someone make it especially for him?"

"No, but..."

"Then it's not his, is it?" He just looked away with a defeated face. I then decide to talk to my wolf cause I was so done drawing.

'So Enara, picked out your favourite spot in the school.'

'No not yet. I've been wondering, do you want to meet your mate anytime soon.'

'No, why.'

'Cause neither do I. I wanna have some freedom with no one to worry or care about. No rules no responsibility. Atleast for now'

'Yeah me too. We're so perfect for each other.'

'Tell me something I don't know.'

I just smiled to myself and continue with my drawing.

A few minutes later the first period was done. I quickly pack my stuff and head out of class. Along the way, I saw bratty girls all dressed up in pink and white. One of them was a wolf but the others were human. Am guessing she's the leader. By the way she was looking at me I could tell she wanted to say something to me, and as soon as I reached where she was she stopped me.

"Hey, you're the new girl right?"

And now begins the play nice act that almost all the popular girls like.

"Yeah, who's asking?"

"I'm Cassandra but my friends call me Cassy and you are?"

"Crystal."

"Ok Crystal listen up...."

Here comes the warning, she'll say and I quote, stay away from me and my group, most especially my boyfriend if you know what's good for you. Don't even look in his direction. Let's prove my theory right.

Too think people can be unique for once. Who the hell even came up with that phrase anyway.

"Ok, is that all." First she looked at me confused then answered, "yeah that's it."

"Ok who's your boyfriend."

She just looked at me as if I just asked an obvious question. Well I mean there is a 80% chance that it's the alpha to be, 10% chance it's the beta or another 10% it's the gamma.

But I doubt again cause Xander was heading to the university with Greg. So maybe the siblings or something.

"That would be James, younger brother to the first in command." "Oooooh okay, if that's it then bye. I'm running late for class." I walked away feeling them staring at my back.

I finally reach my class and like before all eyes on me. I just take my sit at the back. A few seconds in class and there is already someone in front of me.

"Can I help you with something?"

"No...I just wanted to warn you about sitting there."

"Let me guess, James sits here?"

"Yes."

"So let me get me this straight, people are scared of sitting where he sits because his the alpha's younger brother. And this is probably because he claimed this seat saying that it's his and no one should put there asses on it. Am I right or not?"

I said all of that in a low voice so that the humans should not hear anything but audible enough for the werewolves to hear me. But the voice that responded to my question was a deep low voice.

"That's right. But the bigger question is what are you doing in my seat?"

"Well what does it look like I'm doing?"

"Get out of my seat." Then he growled but in a low voice.

"Well what if I don't want to?" I said that while smirking at him and you can imagine his face right now. Since his got some alpha blood in him, disrespecting him really boils his blood. "I'll make you." This time his eyes darken. Pssh, like that's supposed to scare me. If I flashed my eyes at him, he'd be having his tail in between his legs right now.

"I'll come out as soon as class ends in the next minute."

"Are you stupid or something. Class ends at 3pm."

"Well it's ending because a mysterious fire just started." And just like that a fire started and people started to panic and leave the building. Then a shocked Hunter looked at me. "How did you... what are you? I could have sworn I smelt a wolf on you."

"Oh darling, I am. Just not your average type of wolf." And with a smile I got up and started heading for the door.

"I'll report you to the alpha!"

"Go ahead, you have no proof. Oh and by the way, you sounded like a kid when you said that." I walk out while laughing.

Best first day ever!!

Meanwhile at the black mist pack....

Chris' pov

I was just in my office when one of my guards knocked.

Knock, Knock

"Come in"

"Alpha we've received news that a she-wolf has entered the territory."

"Any news on who she is?"

"Just her name alpha... Crystal Swan."

When he said her name my wolf stirred within me. Normally that means that something or someone is bad news. But my wolf wasn't responding so I wasn't sure.

"Tell everyone to keep a close eye on her. Don't let her out of your sight. Find anything about her that can be useful and more especially what she's doing on my territory."

Then my younger brother just burst into my office...it seems like people have forgotten how to knock nowadays.

''James what the hell...." "Have you heard about the new girl in town? I can't stand her... she dare challenges me!!"

"We'll continue this later let me just talk to my brother." The guard bowed and walked away. "Ok, what happened?"

"Ok I walk in class right and this chic Crystal....."

There is that name again, how can one person, a she-wolf for that matter become a problem for me

"..... then left the class."

"Am sorry did you just say that she started a fire? Are you sure she's a wolf or a witch?"

"She's a wolf, I'm telling you. There is something wrong with her" "For now I want you to gather up any info on her. We need to know who she is and what else she can do."

That girl is getting on my nerves. And as if I didn't have alot to do already. We have to get rid of her.

'No'

And that was my wolf Seth.

'Well look who came out of hiding.'

'He just scoffed at me.'

'And what do you mean no.'

'You'll regret it.'

Unless you are willing to tell me what is going on I'll get rid of her.'

'I warned you, that is enough info.'

Argh. You know what, Crystal Swan I'm coming for you.
