CHAPTER 6: JEALOUSNESS and PROTECTIVENESS

That night Damien mind was rustling with different thoughts. His mind was restless till daybreak. He couldn't fathom why she made him felt different emotions, emotions he hadn't felt in years.

He heard about Mates, he considered them weaknesses after witnessing what had terribly happened to his father, he hated himself for many years and till this moment. He switched his thoughts to Harvey, the young human who made him felt something.

Speaking of her, he asked Elios who was beside him that morning to check on her.

"My Lady is not in her room!"

Elios voice ranged out behind him and immediately he tore his gaze off the papers which was in his grip.

"My Lady is in the garden."

Elios said, this time quickly.

All Damien could do was to nod but Damien couldn't contain his curiosity. After what seems like a moment he stood up heading towards the direction of the Garden.

On his way he couldn't help but pondered what she was doing very early in the Garden. Probably, she loves Gardens and he himself also love it. He concluded when he he inhaled the sweetness of rose petals which had been planted there.

She stood there, a watering can in her arms. She was watering the Gardens, the way she felt the flowers with her soft flesh made him jealous because he felt he should have been the one who will literally have those flesh on him.

Immediately, he mentally slapped himself for thinking such. He smiled unconsciously, probably he was enjoying the sight.

That morning I woke up with a lighter heart, I didn't not know why I felt so safe and secure in this kingdom, especially with him. I reminisced the event which had take place last night.

I tried stopping myself to say things I shouldn't have but the words flew out of my mouth, unretractable. I clearly remembered the look on his face that night, it was stone cold after he heard those words, it was moreover expressionless again.

Was he always like that?

I found myself asking no one in particular. Then my thoughts switched to my mother. She probably will have cried her eyes out now, had was also as helpless as me. How I wish i could see her and tell I was safe and sound because I know she had probably be worried to death. I couldn't contain myself thinking how sad my mother will be.

I needed something to do, I looked through the window and my gaze rake through the Garden. Suddenly, an idea popped into my mind instantly. Maybe, watering the Garden will do then. But the problem was that I have no idea if there was any watering can nearby.

Out of curiosity and determination to keep myself busy, I stood up straightening my dress but not before taking a glance at the mirror nearby. I set out and luckily for me I found a lying helpless can which was some metres from me.

Without further probing, I took it and walked towards the Garden immediately, it had a substantial amount of water in it. I was very lucky I guess.

I haven't watered one quarter of the flowers when i felt a presence behind me and that spicy sent, it was him. I felt chills in my stomach as I turned and found him smiling at the flowers...oh no me.

Did he find this amusing?

"Good morning Your Highness."

I greeted graciously as I held my breathe in space. I can't deny the fact that he look like a greek god, who refused to become a god and seek to rule earth instead.

Damien who didn't took notice that he has been smiling suddenly snap out of his daze while looking at the human who stood before him and had just greeted him. He didn't know the expression he could maintain at this situation, how can he reply.

For the first time, in his life he felt nervous and a pang of emotions which he quickly got rid of. How can he about this seductress, of course she was seducing him doing all kind of things to him.

"Let's have breakfast."

He quickly said to avoid the awkward moment but he regretted it instantly, how can he face thai seductress. The mere sight of her aroused him and one day he knew he wouldn't take it and hope she wouldn't hate him for that.

Immediately, she dropped the Can and maids trooped setting the table. Soon enough, the table was set with that thin fabric covering the surface area, what she adore most was the silver lining was was adorned at the tip of the table, they formed a large "O" shape round the table.

Finally, she felt was it feels like to be royalties again. She felt like it was ages she since she ate in an atmosphere like this. She remembered that she once dreamed of eating and playing in the garden but this garden looked similar to the one in her dream.

Once again, her admiration for the man rose up. He made her dream come true, she always loved men who had great respect for women but she she wasn't sure if he was one.

After the maids left, they were the one remaining in the Garden except for his guards and some maids who stood nearby just in case. He beckon for her to take a sit which she did the next moment.

They settled down soon enough and she was about to dig in whilst he was pouring the wine for both of them when she felt a presence in the Garden. At first, she thought they were guards who came to inform him about something but she felt the Auras which was commanded authority and that prompted her to look up.

She guest they were his brothers given that they came in without approval and acknowledgement because they sat down immediately without waiting for his words.

"Our little bro now have a Human in our midst without our knowledge."

One who seems to be the bold type spoke out sarcastically, it was Lucian. The other only smirked while he took his gaze towards her checking her out thoroughly.

Immediately, Damien expression darkened. He growled inwardly at his brothers sudden interruption. Something inside him wished to take over so it could snap the head of Arthur who was busy checking out his mate.

The feeling of jealousness and protectiveness spread over him.
