Chapter 97

Carter's POV

It was so dark outside and no guard was outside. They were all in the castle.

For those Beta Gideon had brought back, claiming to be family members, I won’t hesitate to kill them as well if I should set my eyes on them.

The freezing cold hits my body, but luckily enough, I am putting on a hoodie and a long trouser.

It was eerily silent outside; only the sounds of birds and some insects could be heard.

The moon shone so bright that I was seeing my reflection underneath me.

This same moon was the reason why I was supposed to marry someone I have no interest in, come tomorrow.

Luckily for me, that was never going to happen.

I put the black hoodie over my head and made my way to the dungeon.

I guess this is where I needed to be more vigilant. If not, my plans would be ruined and I will be done for.

That evil beta wouldn't hesitate to kill my family and I and that's not what I want to happen.
