I tried to act like I had not noticed he was staring at me and then, I heard him open the door. I was right. He was really up to something. I tried to keep calm as I continued walking away, slowly increasing my pace. I constantly looked from the side to see if the driver was really following me and yes, he still was.

I diverted away from my apartment and kept walking away, holding my heels in my hands. If he tried to attack, those were weapons enough. Sighting a corner, I quickly walked to it, trying to raise suspicions from the driver who buried his face in a baseball cap.

I hid at the corner of a collapsed wall as I bent down to divert his movement. Realising I was out of sight, he ran quickly towards the corner. That was my chance. Slowly, I dropped my bag and prepared to attack, holding my heels tightly.

He ran quickly and was about to turn to look at me but was suddenly met with a kick in the groyne. Hitting him with the heels would be too extreme and I
