Harriet's POV

"I miss you!" He whispered. His voice was shaky, like was about to cry. I then rubbed his back to calm him down.

We had a small chat about things. And also, he asked after Nelson. I didn't tell him what happened. Nelson is well so, I don't see the need to panic and get him distracted. However, our small chat came to an end and he headed back to the mansion. While Tyler and I were talking, he asked Nelson. At first, I wanted to tell him but I guessed Nelson was already fine and must have woken up. There was no need to keep it going. So, I smiled and asked him not to worry since Nelson was in good hands.

At night, Kyla came to me while at the dining table. I have not retired to bed yet. The books here are really attractive and I have been reading it until I didn't notice it's night yet. My mind was so carried away as usual.
