A thunderous crash echoed around the Dragon Tavern. Like two gods were fighting and wielding godly weapons that go boom when they hit against surfaces. The sound came from the Boiling Room. Zander and his comrades worried that Isis' brewing was going wrong.

“You think Miss Isis is OK in there, Zander?” Gidian questioned. Zander felt his wolf's genuine concern for the old witch.

Zander's eyes went blank as he soothed his wolf. “Isis is OK. She knows what she's doing."

Hazel bit on her nails as she focused on the loud banging that was causing the rocky surfaces to flake. “Maybe we should go see what's happening." The Luna suggested.

But in an outcry, Julia and Layla shouted in unison, “No!”

Julia, clearly blushing as she cleared some sweat from her nape with her palm.

“Why?” James wanted to know the reason they didn't want anyone disturbing Isis. The look that Julia gave him painted a scene that James now wished he could get out of his head. “I see.”

“You see what?” Zander asked, lo

The majestic creature was forced into a dank, dark cave. They had left it curled up in the room's corner, breathing heavy steam from its mouth. Its black, reptilian eyes darted back and forth, surveying the space and looking for threats, but when it saw none, it huffed a sigh of relief. Dust swirled around the cave as the creature reposed, trying to get comfortable. The constant and monotonous dripping of the wet patch on the roof sent a familiar sensation to its eardrums, reminding it so much of home. Dirt and mud discoloured the water as he caught some on his tongue. The creature noticed the small rocks falling from the roof of the cave caused by a distant rumbling. Through hazy visions, it saw two giants fighting over what seemed to be scraps of food on the floor. The creature huffed again. The fighting was causing a more massive headache than the one it already had. If the creature was at full strength, it could part the giants with ease, but it was weak. It scrutinized the fight

King Lucifer stood there, listening to what this human was telling him. A human he allied with some years ago and who helped him to devise a plan to control the world of the supernatural. Lucifer knew this human loathed him, since he, too, was a supernatural creature. A dark wizard, to be exact, but Lucifer knew this human was too weak to challenge him. “His name is Gerard Smith, and he is a bitten." The human spoke with disdain, catching Lucifer's attention. Bernard Delaware hated he had to succumb to this piece of grime who hailed himself a king. But he felt the League of Hunters was not ready to take on the great Dark Wizard. Right then they needed Lucifer's help in defeating the Wolf Pond Pack. But Lucifer didn't see the usefulness of hearing about this bitten wolf until Bernard added, “He is a part of the Demon wolf's pack.”With a cunning grin, Lucifer twirled around to meet Bernard's gaze. “Is that so? Tell me everything that went down.” So, Bernard Delaware informed King Luc

JULIA'S POVMy rough hands clung to the surface of the embankment as we climbed to the lair entrance. Stones burrowed into my knees, peeling at my skin. My palms were sore and bruised. Dozens of scratches littered my arms and legs. With each inhale and exhale, my lungs burned and came close to blistering. I was tired, and I didn't know how much longer I could hold on. My fingers dug harder into the wall and I halted, resting the side of my face on the surface of the ridge. “Julia, don't stop now. We're almost there." Declan's voice was an encouragement. I scanned down below to have a glance at him and regretted my decision to do so. The dropdown below seemed endless, as darkness was all I could see. “Just don't look down, Julia.”“He's right, Jules. Look at me," Zander stated from above. My eyelids were heavy as I lifted my gaze to greet him up above. “That's it, Julia. We're almost there. See, James is already at the top." “OK. I can do this," I chanted, lifting one leg after the o

Like the noise a woodpecker creates as its beak hammers away pecking at the trunk of a tree, that was how hard and fast Julia's heart was thumping. At first, in the somber light, the dragon king's skin was like an artwork of shadows and ivory, but as soon as he stepped out into the brightness a tarpaulin of colourful tattoos that told a tall tale met Julia's sight. The artwork was so delicately designed, and it covered the right side of his body. He was devilishly handsome, with eyes so red they seemed like they were on fire. His muscles danced, and his gaze was diamond hard as he drank up Julia's nakedness. He had never seen a more radiant beauty. He was pleased with her dark chocolate skin, imagining how sweet she would taste. Julia wasn't at all intimidated by him, but she couldn't help but feel a twinge of discomfort like she was facing a panther in the jungle. Her body was frozen into place as the beautiful, sinful predator stalked up to her. She asked herself why he was starin

“Zander," Hazel shouted in relief when she saw her husband walking towards them. She ran into his arms and hugged him with everything she had in her. “I'm so happy you're OK."“I've only been gone a day," Zander declared. “But I'm delighted to see you too, Kitten," he leaned down and kissed her lips. “Sunshine," James called to her. “Dad," Hazel yelped, running out of Zander's arms and into her father's. “Are you OK?"“Yes, my love. I am OK." He squeezed her with all his might. He sensed how relieved she was to see that her loved ones are alright. Declan entered the scene, and Hazel's eyes and his clashed. “How about you, are you alright, Declan?" Hazel asked him. His wolf was affected just by the sweet, saccharine tone of her voice. But it hurt him that he couldn't enjoy a hug from her without fantasizing about having her. “Yes, Luna. I am fine." He stated a little too coldly. Hazel was taken aback by his tone, and Zander felt his turmoil, and it was at that point Alpha figured i

DREADWING'S POVI was ready to take my eternal and fly off into the sunset to a place where we could be alone. I didn't feel like talking to these beings at the moment. My dragons and I wanted to taste our eternal's lips. Honestly, I saw the Luna's mouth moving, but my senses were elsewhere thinking about Julia's warm flesh rocking back and forth on my shaft. "Dreadwing." My ears perked at the sweet honey-coated voice of Julia and the tiny hairs on my arm stood up from the statics her touch brought. "Yes, My Queen." My lips transformed into a smile as soon as my eyes travelled from her luscious breasts and settled on her beautifully crafted face. Her brows furrowed. "Hazel asked you a question." "Oh right. I must admit, you are just too distracting." I smacked my lips and she turned away, apparently affected by my words. I cleared my throat. "What was your question, dear?" I turned my attention to the doppelganger of my best friend, Lucinda. Even though it had been almost ten years

Dazed and disoriented, Freya studied the white-haired woman who was inching closer to her. Her curvaceous body with her silver hair and milky eyes made her a looker. She was beautiful, but there was something so familiar about the woman, like she'd met her before. Isis paused when she noticed Freya's confused stare. “It is I, child. Isis.”“Wait, what? But you're supposed to be old.” Freya gasped. “That's because she did something bad,” another voice made it through the rubble. Isis's gaze shot to the slender woman, pushing her body up off the ground and dusting the debris off her clothes. “Prudence!” Isis yelped. “Hello, Isis,” Prudence grinned. Tears pooled in her eyes as she pushed past her sister and fell into Isis's arms. “Oh, my child,” Isis cried. “You're alive.”“Yes. I am.”“Wait, I don't understand. How do you look so young and fresh?” Freya wanted to know. “Forget about that and come give me a hug,” Isis declared. Freya rushed and dove into Isis's arms. “I'm so happy

I sunk my fangs into my bottom lip out of anger. “Impossible!” Zander raged. Gidian was reeling at the forefront, ready to rip into someone. Maybe me. And Alpha Zander wasn't even trying to hold him back. “Are you sure?”“Yes. I'm sure of it.” The merman stated. “And what says you two?” Zander asked the witches. “I—I am not certain. The child calls Lucifer uncle, so we thought she was his kin,” Freya let out. “That would explain Zoey's protectiveness of her. Plus the child did seem attached to Zoey,” Prudence wondered out loud. I couldn't take this anymore. I felt the skin on my back parting. My wings only ever came out when I was feral, and, trust me, I was close. “Dimitri. Calm down. Alfonso led the group through the secret underground passageway beneath the castle. The air suddenly gained a musty, damp smell, the smell of death and decay. Nobody spoke until they reached a grey door hidden in the wall. “This is it, the entrance to the library.” Alfonso whispered.“And you're certain no one will be in there?” Alpha Zander double-checked. He replayed the plan over and over in his head, but something didn't feel right in the pit of his stomach. “Yes I'm sure. Prince Magnus or his guards never come here. They stay in the North and West wing of the castle.” Alfonso exhaled as he pressed the indention in the wall and the door quietly slid open. “Let's go, but be quiet.”Declan was the first person who tried to enter through the door. Zander yanked him back by his collar. “Where the fuck do you think you're going?”“I cannot stay behind Alpha. Maddox and I will go mad if we don't go to her.”“Declan, you can't go,” Lucinda warned. “But she's my mate,” he yelped.“I kn

ANONYMOUS POV"Blink! Blink!" Alpha Zander tried to coax himself. He still seemed to believe his ears had deceived him. Did the queen just say Hazel was with child? He asked himself and his wolf, Gidian answered. "That is undoubtedly what she said. Not that it's impossible, but how come we can't smell our pup inside her?"Zander's fingers stroked the side of his Luna's face, who wasn't moving an inch. "I don't know, but I think Lucinda knows why," Zander replied telepathically to his wolf. The way how Lucinda was staring told him she had some idea of what was going on. Currently, he didn't know what to make of the situation. The other werewolves were thinking the same. Confusion, excitement, and concern were only a few emotions that were swirling around in the air. And also staining the air with an enormous punch was fear. Fear of what this may mean for Luna Hazel. James remembered the first time he smelt his son growing inside Sue-Ling, the she-wolf he was set to marry. A wave of

HAZEL'S POVShe looks like me; I thought, or maybe I look like her. My hair was still dripping wet as I trudged back to the hideout. Maddox dashed off so quickly before I could even get two sentences in. I knew he didn't mean to peep on me, and it was my fault, anyhow. I knew better than to be taking baths in lakes in places that were strange to me. But I was just so irritated and my blood seemed hot, so I had to cool down. I promised myself I'd talk with Declan when I saw him. My footsteps were silent as I hiked up to the others. Lucinda's head fell backward as she laughed, just the way I always do. Her nose was a clone of mine, and her hair, though it was styled in many braids, was the same length as mine, just a bit more kinky. I glared at the woman who left me at birth, my eyes welled with tears. There were so many times I wished I had her around when I was growing up. I quickly blinked back my tears and proceeded toward them. My stomach churned the way Isis was treating her; l

  • THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)   CHAPTER 77: I GUESS THE MOON GODDESS LOVES ME AFTER ALL

DECLAN'S POVThis was torment, real torture. My wolf and I couldn't help but stare. Like glue, our views were stuck on our Luna bathing in the river. Her waist-length hair was dripping wet and delicately settled over her shoulder. Her rear was to us, and her bodacious backside was making my appendage jerk in need. I would rather not be there anymore. I wanted to go, but Maddox's paws kept creeping forward closer to her. “What are you doing?" I urged my wolf. “Let's go back."“I can't. There's something in the air telling me she is my mate," he explained. I wanted to agree with him since I felt it too. But out of respect and love for my alpha, I had to do the right thing. “But she isn't. She belongs to our Alpha and this is wrong," I told him. This caused him to stop, but not before stepping on a twig. The sound startled Hazel and made her to turn hastily in our direction. She was ringing out the excessive water from her hair. Maddox went into a panic when his eyes engaged with hers

  • THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)   CHAPTER 76: JAMES' MATE

Poor James stood completely frozen in front of his mate. His companions were just as mesmerized by the woman they saw. Her hair was woven into long micro-braids that touched the small of her back. Her Nubian nose was a little different, it had a tiny jewel that glinted on the left side. But the ebony-black skin, the wispy eyelashes, the plump coral lips, and the eyebrows that were always turned up at the inward tips, furrowed, as if judging everything you're doing, were exactly as James remembered. His eyes raked her figure. She seemed more mature, and he liked that. It had been 19 years since he'd seen her, so of course she'd look different. But one thing was for sure: she was even more beautiful than ever. “Lucinda,” James whispered. “Is it really you?” He held his breath and closed his eyes. Lucinda stretched out her fist and ran her palm over his cheek. James gasped for air, leaning into her touch. His frame erupted with sparks at every juncture of his body. “Yes, my love. It i

Hazel grew up watching fairytales on Disney Channel. She puckered her lips and kissed the Frog Prince with Tiana. Just like Belle, she fell in love with the Beast. She and Gabrielle danced with Pocahontas in the wind, and she can't forget when she fought a war with Mulan. Fairytales had always been her thing. So her imagination conjured up what she thought the Fae World would look like; gold, silver, and shimmer everywhere. She even pictured pink talking clouds that tasted like cotton candy. But to her dismay, she wasn't prepared for the truth. The portal vanished with a tremendous cracking sound, like glass being broken, leaving our nine supernatural friends stupefied. There was no wind in the Fae World. Pieces of the sky were falling like dried paint from a wall. “Is this it, Mommy? Is this where you're from?" Tia looked up to a teary-eyed Cedella. Her ghostly tears were the only shimmering detail Hazel saw. Cedella couldn't answer her daughter. The only thing she could do was moa

I DO NOT WRITE FOR A LIVING. I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR. I work 16 hours every day except for Fridays. I work doubles every day because I have a mortgage and bills to pay. I have people who depend on me for survival. I just do not have the time to write. On Fridays I am busy cooking meals to last me throughout the week, doing my laundry, house shopping, running errands, or most importantly, sleeping. For those who can't wait for updates. Then do what I do as a reader, don't start a book that's not completed. I have a life outside of writing. The only reason I'm even writing this right now is because I am at a friend's baby shower and I had to ask this day 3 weeks in advance. Anyone can be upset, frustrated, or angry but I will not tolerate disrespect. If you can't wait, which I do understand, it has been forever since I've updated, but just forget about this book and move on to another book that's completed. No need to act all grimy over here. TF you think you are.
