CHAPTER 17: WHITE TREE COVEN

"I think we should speed-run from here, " Zander said, and the other two supernaturals agreed. They zoomed the next couple of miles until they approached the top of the mountain.

"There's nothing up here," Declan spun around in circles trying to see if he could identify a building, a cave... anything. "There's nothing here than snow and trees."

"But I sense something... I sense great power coming from over there," Zander pointed to the centre of the peak. "My wolf is even picking up on hundreds of odd smells."

"I detect it too," Dimitri conceded.

They sniffed and tried to locate where the scent was coming from. "Over there, it's coming from over there," Zander pointed once again at the centre of the peak of the mountain.

"That's crazy, Alpha. There is nothing there. It's just a cliff," Declan sighed.

But Zander walked up to the peak and stepped to the edge, and then he did something that stunned Dimitri and Declan... he jumped off the precipice.
