Casper was aware that a greater force, or rather a greater being had arrived; for the fact that the other had been able to fix him at one point, had made him unable to make even the tiniest of motion, was a startling indication of that point. Curtis's eyes darted tro and fro the dark surrounding of the big hall which his cousin's party was going in. He could see some werewolves joking around with themselves, a lot of touching and teasing. And that particular scent, that scent that was threatening to drive him crazy was present. He had perceived it first whilst they had been discussing Emma's case in a smaller hall.
