Netayam's POV.

Just as I was about to turn around and identify the source of the approaching steps, a searing pain shot through my right hand.

"Arrgghh!" I growled, a mixture of fury and agony, staggering a few steps backward.

Now, surrounding me were roughly seven hefty men. Five of them were the familiar faces from earlier, the ones who had come to take Kayla away from me.

The remaining two were strangers, adding an aspect of unpredictability to the situation.

"How dare you?" I roared, clutching my injured hand in an attempt to stem the persistent bleeding.

Normally, I would heal almost instantly, but this time, perhaps due to my weakened wolf, the recovery seemed impossible.

I stood there, surrounded and wounded, the brawl escalating into a clash that held the possibility to determine the fate of those involved.

"What do you mean, 'how dare us'? You entered our territory without seeking permission, and we don't like that! We don't appreciate intruders walking into our territory!
