He's Back!

Netayam's POV.

As I gradually opened my eyes, I found myself in a familiar environment; the room I usually called mine.

What caught my attention, however, was Beta Ray, my Beta, sitting right beside me. This was unexpected.

In my last memory, I was ensnared by ruthless rogues, and my mate, Kayla, was forcefully taken from me.

The surge of panic hit me as I realised the potential consequences of that event.

Immediately, I sat up on my bed, a mix of relief and apprehension flooding me. The image of Kayla being taken away lingered in my mind.

My hand instinctively reached out for Beta Ray's, surprising him. His eyes widened in shock at my sudden movement.

"Alpha, you are awake!" His voice carried a tone laced with fear and concern as he swiftly stood up from his seat.

The room felt charged with an unspoken tension, and I couldn't help but wonder what had happened in my absence.

He came closer to me, immediately bowing his head in a gesture of respect.

"Where's Kayla? Where's my mate?
