ANNA’S POV

I couldn’t hate Charles because I understood how he felt. I didn’t approve of his ways of getting what he wanted by selling others but because I was going to use him to get to information that could help me get Xavier, I didn’t blame him.

When he left my determination increased. I would make sure my death left behind a massacre. My entire being was prepared and when the door opened for the third time, I was more than ready.

Four bulky guards came into the room and a smile covered my face as they stared at me, trying to see if I was going to attack.
