CHAPTER 132 (THE IRON QUEEN)

XAVIER'S POV

Nico had completed his side of the bargain. I was shipped to a faraway island a place where I knew no one but I wasn't depressed because I knew that this was just the beginning.

When I got to the island, I was taken to the mountains, to a land owned by a woman.

At first, I thought she was just like the rest of the women I knew but Edna was different. She was brave and powerful. She trained with me day and night until my body slowly started healing from the physical pain.

The emotional pain was still there but she had found a way to numb it.

"Come, Xavier, get up," she called out across the fields.

She had tricked me into fighting with her in the open fields in front of all her men. And they cheered her own like the leader she was.

But, I was not going to let her win today.

I peeled off the mask on my face and grinned at her.
