Amelia stared back at the piercing red eyes that stared into her green ones, she quickly looked up at Augusta who smiled back at her.
"This is Dante, he's a doctor." Augusta introduced him to the man who stood in front of her with a wide smile that sent chills down her spine.
"Hello, Dante, nice to meet you." Amelia curtsied with a smile on her face as Augusta held her shoulder protectively glaring at Dante who understood and walked away quickly.
"He's weird," Amelia muttered walking alongside Augusta who didn't like that she was talking to someone else.
"All doctors are weird my love." Augusta shrugged now seated with Amelia who stared around the hall.
"Is anything the matter? I told you not to be nervous As long as I am with you." Augusta told Amelia trying to make her less tense as she scooted closer to him feeling the penetrating gaze others have her.
"If you wanted to be this close you would have said so darling," Augusta said as his breath tickled her ear and sent waves of shock through her body.
"Of course not." Amelia defended scooting away from him but he pulled her close to himself again.
"You are a pain in the ass," Amelia muttered rolling her eyes as she looked up at him smiling down at her with his piercing blue eyes that felt like a cupid arrow shot in her heart. The ceremony started and couples danced to the soft music that played as Amelia stared at them in amusement. It was like an old-fashioned world with class, if only her higher-ups could see this. Remembering her teammates and the family she had left behind made her sad and feel homesick. She saw a hand in front of her she quickly recollected herself and looked up to see Augusta smiling down at her.
"You can't sit here all night, shall we dance my lady?" He asked still holding his hands out for her to take, she placed her soft palm in his and lifted herself reluctantly.
"Sure."
They walked to the dance floor as he held her so close to him that she could feel his heartbeat, he held her perfectly slimmed waist and they both moved to the rhythm of the slow music that played in the hall. The music made her calm as she wished to remain in the moment, she wanted to forget everything even the fact that she wanted to leave this place.
"Do you dance like this back in your hometown," Augusta questioned not wanting the silent aura around them, he wanted to know more about this woman who can steal his in just one glance, the woman who had made his wolf jump for joy which had never happened before. All the women he had met beverage him feel this way.
"Hmmm…. Not really, it's more like moving like you're crazy." Amelia answered not knowing another way to explain how she used to dance to hip-hop music while she was younger.
"Would you be so kind to show me your 'crazy dance?" He asked emphasizing the 'crazy'.
"No… not with this kind of dress and song," Amelia told him not wanting to tell him how bad she was at dancing but he wanted otherwise.
"I don't know how to dance." She finally confessed to wanting him to change the subject.
"I could beg on my knees if that would make you show me how to dance," Augusta said with soft pleading eyes that could melt any soul, Amelia sighed in defeat finally giving up to the pressure and moving away from him with a shy smile on her face as she took off her heels as her feet were already aching, she received stares from other guests which didn't bother her anymore as she stared at Augusta whose eyes never left her body as he watched her like she was his prey.
"The music is dull but I'll see what I can do." Amelia laughed nervously as she lifted her dress to ease her movement. Augusta signaled the music band and they increased the pace of the music which was once dull, the other guests who were dancing finally stopped to stare at Amelia who got herself ready to dance, she took in a deep breath and looked at Augusta once more before swirling her waist seductively moving her hands and legs as her body flowed to the rhythm of the song.
Everyone stared at her in awe as no one had ever had the opportunity to fancy in front of the alpha king in such a manner, but he enjoyed every bit of it not wanting it to end.

Amelia slumped on the bed tiredly as she had exhausted all the energy she had left, she got up tiredly and took off her dress and her shoes as she didn't want to ruin them, she slumped back on the bed but jerks up again in fear when she hears a knock on the door and a maid walks in with her head low to the ground and felt safer again.
"My lady, his highness would love to have dinner with you." She said as Amelia sighed tiredly.
"Tell him I'm tired and need rest," Amelia replied not want g to get up from the soft bed that soothed her aching body.
"He insists you come, my lady… please." She pleaded to know quite well that he won't accept any rejection.
"Fine." Amelia finally gave in as she tiredly rose from the comfort of the bed, the maid quickly prepared a bath for her and arranged the dress she would wear to meet Augusta. After minutes of struggling not to go back to bed, she finally got ready following the maid who was leading her to Augusta. When they took a turn to another hall she bumped into someone and quickly recollected herself looking up at who she had hit.
"You are annoying aren't you." The man said with a predatory smile as he held her chin with his face inches away from her. She tried recalling where she had seen this arrogant man and finally remembered, he was the one who spoke to her while she was imprisoned.
"And you have no idea how to treat a woman." Amelia scoffed with a frown on her face.
"Oh, believe me, darling…. I know just how to treat every woman, especially someone with a smart mouth." He assured her as his eyes trailed down to her boobs which were hardly covered by the dress she wore as she stared into his eyes before flicking his hands off her chin not feeling the slightest of intimidation he displayed.
"I do have somewhere important to be, now if you excuse me I'll be on my way," Amelia snapped as she continued following the maid who had stopped for her to finish her discussion with the man she had just talked to.
"May I know who that man is?" She asked the maid whose head hung low staring at the ground as they walked.
"He is the Beta of his highness, like a second in command after his highness." She explained and Amelia gasped amused that she had just talked rudely to one of the prominent in the kingdom. They finally got to the garden where Augusta was and the maid bowed in respect before leaving. Augusta turned slowly towards her as he felt her presence.
"Join me for dinner." He offered as she walked towards him taking her seat, she looked around the garden which was filled with beautiful species of flowers she had never seen back at home.
"These would be wonderful research materials." She thought to herself as she continued to stare at everything in awe. The place was beautiful and very peaceful, the air around them felt light and she felt at ease.
"You like it, you could come here whenever you feel free." He told her noticing how she stared like a child who had been taken to a park.
"It's beautiful." Amelia commended looking at Augusta who had changed his attire to a shirt and pants revealing his broad chest that Amelia couldn't help but stare at in hunger.
"Yes, it is… you can touch it if you want." He smirked at her intentionally revealing his chest as Amelia snapped out of her seductive gaze as her face turned red in embarrassment.
"Stop being a tease." She playfully snapped at him now staring at the inviting meal before her but waited for Augusta took to take a bite first as she didn't know what it entailed.
"You don't like it?" He asked borrowing his brows as he put some of the food on his plate.
"I don't know what this is." She answered glancing at him before looking back at the food.
"Won't you want to have a taste and find out if it's good?" He smirked daringly at her. "I can't believe a scientist wants to chicken out from making a discovery." He teased her taking another bite from his food, Amelia felt intimidated and wanted to prove him wrong, she is a scientist who has a passion for discovery and he was trying to make her seem incompetent in her work…. That she won't let him do.
Amelia took a portion and put it on her plate, she looked at the watery vegetable substance that looked like poop. She sighed before summoning the courage to take it as she wasn't going to back down from this dare.
She put it in her mouth as Augusta started at her in amusement, he had expected her to back down but she didn't. Amelia'eyes widened as she looked down at the food taking another spoon to be sure it was not her mind playing tricks on her. The food tasted so wonderful no words could describe how she felt.
"This is good." She told Augusta who nodded and continued staring at her which made her oblivious and uncomfortable.
"It's rude to stare at someone while they're eating." She snapped at him making him chuckle as he continued eating.
"So what ingredient was used in the preparation of this meal," Amelia questioned referring to what they were eating.
"Well… a lot of rare ingredients." He answered and she furrowed her brows wanting him to tell her in detail.
"You want to know?" He asked smirking at her as he bit his lips seductively, getting up from his chair and slowly making his way to her at the side of the table.
"Yes, I want to," Amelia answered eyeing his slow and creeping walk as her eyes darted to his broad chest once again looking at the chest muscles that could make any woman go insane and get down on her knees for him.
"It's made with a lot of rare ingredients you can't even find on land." He smirked now behind her and held her shoulders while rubbing them softly. His rough hand made her skin ache as she wondered why a king's hand could be this rough like that ok a farmer.
"Tell me." Amelia frowned as he kept her in suspense, different thoughts raced through her mind as she felt his breath on her ear sending waves of emotions passing through her veins.
"It's human blood." He smiled as she looked up at him with a confused and shocked expression on her face making him laugh in satisfaction. Her jaw dropped open in surprise
"What?" She jerked up moving away from him but chuckled and went back to sit down taking another spoon of the food.
"It's a joke, have your seat." He told her.
"I have something to discuss with you," Augusta said now having a serious look on his face, Amelia quickly sat on the chair hopeful that he would send her away.
"Sure, what is that?" She asked curiously staring into his eyes that looked intimidating.
"I want you to be my wife."

"What do you mean you want me to be your wife? I have a home to return to." Amelia snapped at him stunned by what he had just said. "Exactly what you heard darling." He said looking at her again but she was still trying to grasp what he just said."Do you think you're a welcomed guest? You're human and many see you as either a prey or an enemy… I doubt you would be able to survive on your own, so I want you to stay by my side." He explained to her as his heart raced in anticipation wanting her to agree with him."What makes you think so? Why don't you just set me free?" She questioned him as she thought of her parents who she didn't have time to say goodbye to."You had no idea that once you set foot in here you're a prisoner…. I'm giving you an opportunity I won't give to anyone else, you must become my wife since I let your friends go." He said with an unreadable expression that made her feel sick."I'll think about it," Amelia muttered. She didn't want to make an irrational decisio
"You had a different scent when you walked in." He told her and she asked as realization hit her. She had forgotten she wasn't dealing with an ordinary man but an alpha who was smart."You must have smelt wrong." Amelia snapped at him and his lips formed into a smile making her wonder what he might do to her."Well since you're bent on lying to your husband, let's make you talk." He whispered in her ear as his cool breath tickled her. Augusta released mating pheromones that made her head light and hazy."Now tell me, where were you?" He growled in her ear as he bit her ear lightly as she bit her lips wondering why her body was failing her and sucuumbing to his touch"In… the hall…. I slept… ahhh." Amelia moaned as her body felt hot wanting to be in his grasp."You're really bad at lying darling, why don't I break these legs so you won't leave here anymore?" Augusta teased as his hands trailed between her legs as she huffed in pleasure, her eyes trailed down to his visible budge that p
Amelia walked through the halls as she is led to her new room by a maid, Augusta had suggested she stayed in the same room as him as they were now married, but she didn't feel the need for him to do so but still complied as she didn't have an option. She was deep in thought when she bumps one someone and lands on the floor, she raised her head meeting a familiar set of eyes."Why do you make it a habit not to watch your way while walking." He snapped at her as she rolled her eyes annoyed he didn't help her up. She got up and noticed the maid leading her to her room had disappeared and she couldn't make her way to the room without needing help as this place was still unfamiliar to her."Why do you make it a habit to always appear out of nowhere." Amelia retired back at him angrily as she crossed her arms over her chest."Hmmm… feisty, just the way I like them," Oscar smirked at her as his face was inches away from hers which was intimidating as she took a step back."That's no way to t
Oscar held the red orb substance in hand as he lifted it to the sky smiling to himself as stared at the orb in happiness. He was holding the one thing Augusta was searching for desperately in his hands as he felt like a god. He could get whatever he wanted with this orb, Amelia, become a king, and have Augusta under his clutches. But first, he was going to make Augusta suffer by taking what he loved the most…. Amelia."You seem to like it a lot don't you?" A voice whispered to Oscar who snarled at the lady as she had appeared out of nowhere which was a habit of hers."What do you want?" He growled at her for interrupting his quiet time, she laughed as she sat on his hands with her claws dressing his face."I missed you and decided to pay you a short visit." She giggles as her eyes stared down at the orb in his hands as he hid it in his pocket."It looks nice up close, why don't you let touch it?" She pouted with pleasing eyes leaning closer to him but he pushed her away from him getti
Augusta's eyes snapped open as he took a peek at his surroundings, he had dreamt about being in the arms of his wife and the dream witch had used that to subdue him. He lifted his body from the floor and listened to the cackle that echoed in the dark forest where even the moonlight could never penetrate. It felt as though there was no life in the forest but there was indeed a lot. Augusta looked around for any of his men but he didn't find them."Come out right now." He yelled at the cackle that seemed to get closer to him and suddenly stopped as his ear listened attentively for any sound."Awwnn, bad wolfie."
Chapter 11. Amelia sat alone by her bedroom window, watching people from above. It felt strange. It looked new, the way things had drastically changed for her. From being a researcher to now being the wife of a wolf king. Her life felt like a television show. The type she would like to see.She heaved a sigh as she brought herself back to reality. She observed the beautiful alignment of the island and how it looked so peaceful and organized. No outsider would know how magical this city was until they came here. She saw a couple in the street below. They were holding hands and showing public displays of affection. Amelia felt a sharp pang of sadness in her chest. She used to be like that with a certain boy. Zack. She thought of Zack, and all the plans they had made together. He had promised to love her and marry her as she spent six of her precious years with him, not knowing the truth.Amelia turned to look inside her room. She placed her hand on the window frame to support her wei
King Augustra and Amelia were entwined in a passionate embrace. Amelia's breath was heavy as she closed her eyes and felt the warmth of his body against hers. She could feel his heart beating as he gently caressed her back. Augustra moved his hands down her body, exploring her curves and every inch of her skin. He looked into her eyes and she melted into his gaze. He pulled her closer and kissed her deeply, exploring her mouth with his tongue. She felt herself falling in love with him in that moment. She ran her hands through his hair and down his back, savoring every touch. Augustra grabbed her hips and lifted her up, carrying her to the bed. He laid her down and began to kiss her neck and shoulders, sending shivers down her spine. His hands began to move further and further down her body, until he was caressing her inner thighs. She gasped in pleasure as he touched her intimately. He moved his body over hers and entered her slowly, filling her with pleasure. With each thrust he m
The elders and other members of the pack had been waiting for the king in the throne room but he had not come. They had sat there for over thirty minutes, but he still had not come. Someone had suggested that the next in line, The Beta Wolf be sent to find the king and remind him of the meeting. Oscar had been sent to find the King, so he set off to search the King's room. But, to his dismay, he found the room was empty. "Where could this bastard be?" He said as he murmured under his breath "What kind of king forgets he had a meeting with his pack?" He mumbled again, then he sighed. He slowly began roaming the hall, asking anyone he could find if they had seen the King. "Has anyone seen the king?""No Sire. No one has seen him since morning. We will be on the lookout"After tallking to several of the castle staff, he eventually received an answer. One of the maids he had asked said she had seen the King entering Luna's new room. Oscar wasn't surprised. He slapped himself on the fo
I could feel Malakai tensing beside me, his hand hovering over his sword. But I knew that violence was not the answer. We had to think of something else, something that would allow us to keep the fruit and still come out of this alive.Suddenly, an idea came to me - a risky, dangerous idea, but one that just might work."Wait," I said, holding up my hand. "We have something else that you might be interested in."The leader raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "And what might that be?"I took a deep breath, then launched into my plan. It was a long shot, but it just might work.As I spoke, I could see the leader's expression changing. He was considering my proposal, weighing the risks and rewards in his mind. Finally, he nodded. "Very well. We have a deal."I let out a sigh of relief, but I knew that the hard part was yet to come. We still had to make sure that the fruit was used for good, and that the dark organization didn't turn on us the moment we left the castle. But for now, w
brighter and brighter, until it was emitting a blinding light that filled the entire cavern. The leader and his men stumbled back in surprise, shielding their eyes from the intense light. And as the light began to fade, I saw that the fruit had transformed - it was no longer a simple piece of fruit, but a shining, glowing gemstone, pulsing with an otherworldly energy. The leader, stunned and bewildered, looked at me with a mixture of fear and awe. "What have you done?" he whispered.I felt a sense of triumph surge through me. We had not only saved the fruit, but we had transformed it into something even more powerful. With this new weapon, we could defeat the dark organization once and for all.But as we made our way back to the surface, I could sense that our troubles were far from over. There were still more challenges to face, more battles to fight. And sure enough, as we emerged from the cave, we were met with a fierce army of dark organization soldiers, their weapons at the ready
As we watched the army approach, a sense of dread settled over me. We were vastly outnumbered and outmatched, and I knew that we couldn't win this fight with brute force alone."We need a plan," I said to Lilith and Amelia, trying to keep my voice steady. "We can't fight them head-on. We need to think of something else.""I have an idea," Lilith said, her eyes gleaming with a fierce determination. "But it will require all of us to work together.""I'm listening," I said, my heart racing with anticipation.Lilith explained her plan, and I could see the brilliance of it. It was risky, but if it worked, we could turn the tide of the battle in our favor."Let's do it," I said, feeling a renewed sense of hope.We executed the plan flawlessly, and for a moment, it seemed like we might actually win this fight. But then something unexpected happened - one of the enemy soldiers, a young woman with a look of terror in her eyes, suddenly broke away from the group and ran towards us."Please, you
As we lay there in each other's arms, basking in the afterglow of our lovemaking, I couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness that I had never experienced before. Amelia and I had been through so much together, and our love had only grown stronger with each passing day."I love you, Amelia," I said, tracing lazy circles on her skin with my fingertips."I love you too, Augustra," she replied, snuggling closer to me.For a while, we simply lay there in silence, content to be together. But eventually, the weight of our responsibilities began to weigh on us, and we knew that we couldn't stay in bed forever. With a sigh, Amelia sat up and began to dress. "We should get going. Lilith is waiting for us."I nodded, reluctantly getting up and dressing myself. Lilith had summoned us to her chambers, and I knew that whatever she had to say was important. As we made our way through the palace, we could feel the tension in the air. The dark organization had launched a massive attack on the ki
Lilith and I set out on our journey to find the monks, determined to find a way to restore Amelia and put an end to the darkness that had taken hold of her. As we journeyed through the mountains, Lilith told me more about her powerful friends who could potentially help us in the upcoming battle. "I have a friend who is a powerful sorceress," Lilith said. "She can manipulate the elements and has knowledge of ancient magic that could be useful in the fight against the dark organization." "That could be very helpful," I replied. "But our first priority is to restore Amelia. We need to find out if the monks know of a way to undo the dark magic that was used to resurrect her." As we approached the hidden temple where the monks resided, we were met with stern faces and cautious eyes. "Why do you seek our counsel?" asked one of the monks. "We seek a way to restore someone who was brought back to life through dark magic," I explained. "Her soul is consumed by darkness, and we need your h
One day, as I sat alone in my chambers, I heard a soft knock at the door. "Come in," I said, and the door creaked open to reveal a figure shrouded in darkness. "Who are you?" I asked, my hand reaching for my sword. The figure stepped forward into the light, revealing a face that I recognized all too well. "Amelia?" I gasped, my heart pounding in my chest. She smiled, but it was not the warm and loving smile that I remembered. It was cold and calculating, and it sent a shiver down my spine. "I've come to make you an offer," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "What kind of offer?" I asked warily. "A chance to join me," she said. "To rule beside me and unlock the power of the immortal fruit." I shook my head in disbelief. "I could never join you, Amelia. Not like this." She shrugged. "Suit yourself. But know this - I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals. And if that means destroying you and everything you hold dear, then so be it." With that, she turned and disappeared
"We turned to see a woman standing behind us. She was tall and regal, with long dark hair and eyes that seemed to hold the secrets of the universe," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "And then we realized who she was," my friend replied, equally stunned. "It was Gaia," I said, my heart racing with excitement and fear. "The ancient goddess of the earth." Gaia stepped forward, her eyes locked on me. "I have been watching you, Alpha Augustra," she said in a voice that echoed through the forest. "Your love for Amelia is strong, but it is not enough to bring her back from the dead." My heart sank at her words. "Is there anything I can do?" I asked, my voice trembling. "There is," she replied, a faint smile on her lips. "But it will require a great sacrifice. One that only you can make." "What kind of sacrifice?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities. "The kind that will test your strength, your courage, and your love for Amelia," Gaia said, her eyes boring into mine. "Ar
In the midst of the chaos, I spotted Tabitha in the distance, her eyes glinting with a sinister determination. I knew I had to reach her before it was too late. I fought my way through the crowd of enemy soldiers, dodging blows and returning them with a ferocity I never knew I possessed. Finally, I stood face to face with Tabitha. "So, we meet again," she sneered, her lips curling into a cold smile. "What do you want, Alpha?" "I want you to stop this madness," I replied, my voice filled with steel. "End this war now, and I'll spare your life." Tabitha laughed, the sound echoing through the battlefield. "Spare my life? You think you have that kind of power?" "I do," I said firmly. "And I'll use it if I have to." Tabitha's eyes narrowed. "You're making a mistake, Alpha. You and your pack will pay dearly for this." With those words, she lunged forward, her blade flashing in the sunlight. I dodged her attack, then countered with a swift strike of my own. The clash of our swords ech
As I walked through the empty streets of the city, my heart felt heavy with grief. My beloved Amelia was gone, taken from me by the cruel machinations of the dark organization. I couldn't help but blame myself for her death, for not being there to protect her.But now, as I was surrounded by the oppressive concrete jungle, I felt like a hunted animal. The organization was after me, and I had to stay on the move to avoid their grasp. I knew that they would stop at nothing to get me, just like they did with Amelia.I tried to keep a low profile, but it wasn't easy. Everywhere I went, I felt like eyes were on me, watching my every move. It was a constant state of fear and paranoia that was slowly driving me mad.One day, as I was walking down an alley, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to see a group of men in suits approaching me, their faces hidden behind masks."Alpha Augustra," one of them said in a monotone voice, "you are under arrest for the murder of Amelia.""What?
