Anya's pov

I never thought that in my entire life, my plan would backfire on me this bad.

From wanting her dead to her moving into the castle and it all happened because of a plan I orchestrated.

I swirled the wine in my glass cup, before downing it and wincing at the sour taste as it stung my throat. I needed to get more, I needed something stronger than this to fight the pain I felt.

I didn't know if to go for a run or find who to tear apart.

I needed to take out my anger and the person I wanted to unleash it on was far away from me, probably in the arms of my man, languishing and enjoying his attention.

I had never known shame so deep as I did when he almost ran mad at the fact that she was responding slowly to treatment which was easily solved as fate was on her side, surviving that fire and waking up in a few hours was more than a weak wolf could pull off.
