Eros's pov The moment I got out of my Bambi's room, I headed for the castle's kitchen and as I did, I placed my hand over my chest trying my best to steady my beating heart from its erratic movements which was impossible as I couldn't stop thinking about the events of the evening and butterflies swarmed in my belly causing a fuzzy warm feeling that had me feeling the need to sit down. She let me near her, wore my shirt and let me carry her before everyone and unknowingly to her, that was a way of me staking my claim. There might be talks and whispers but they wouldn't dare let it get to me as they know that an Alpha wouldn't joke about his Luna. The glee I felt from hanging out with her overrid my worry as I saw that there were already red spots arising on my skin which I had hoped she hadn't noticed. I sneezed a couple of times while coming down the stairs and I made a mental note to take some extra shots of my med before bed so as to calm the effects of associating with her. A
Eros’s Pov I knocked on her door softly and after a few seconds she came to it, opening it gently while hiding behind. "Why are you hiding Bambi?" I asked letting myself in and closing the door, "Did anything happen?" "She has nothing to wear and why do you call her Bambi?" I turned to see the little man on the bed giving me a wary look and I smiled looking back at his sister to she that she had cast the blanket over her, wrapping her whole body with it. "Please don't laugh." She mumbled softly seeing the amusement on my face and she began to walk back to the bed wobbling in the process as it was difficult for her to walk. "I brought you a shirt." I stifled a laughter when her eyes lit up at the prospects of having something other than a blanket. She poked her hand from under, taking it and hurriedly running to the bathroom to change. "You carried my sister the other night." Haris turned to me the moment you left, "But you aren't as nice as Big Dmitri, are you?" I
Anya's pov I never thought that in my entire life, my plan would backfire on me this bad. From wanting her dead to her moving into the castle and it all happened because of a plan I orchestrated. I swirled the wine in my glass cup, before downing it and wincing at the sour taste as it stung my throat. I needed to get more, I needed something stronger than this to fight the pain I felt. I didn't know if to go for a run or find who to tear apart. I needed to take out my anger and the person I wanted to unleash it on was far away from me, probably in the arms of my man, languishing and enjoying his attention. I had never known shame so deep as I did when he almost ran mad at the fact that she was responding slowly to treatment which was easily solved as fate was on her side, surviving that fire and waking up in a few hours was more than a weak wolf could pull off. Maybe she's using more spells than we are! We need to act fast Anya! My wolf Tira spoke, Raphael is supposed to be m
Demi's pov Morning came sooner than I had expected, the sun rays streamed through the open windows teasing my eyelids and I opened them to receive its warmth. My gaze trailed to where Haris lay in his room, he was still asleep and I smiled knowing that he had slept peacefully in that soft bed. I turned to the other side of the bed, rubbing my hand over my face to get rid of the sleepiness and my lips slowly stretched in a smile reminiscing the events of the past hours. They had been filled with Eros, just Eros. His kindness and softness, his gentility, his care and protectiveness. The way he showed how capable he was as a mate yet my mind was divided on what was happening. I still didn't know why he hadn't accepted me in the beginning and even if I did, would I forgive him? My thoughts shifted to how bad he was in the beginning, ignoring me, telling me that I wasn't fit to be his, and ruining my moments with Dmitri. On the other hand, Dmitri had been n
Demi's pov All my appetite was lost when I learned about the incident and knowing that it was my fault made me want to disappear as I knew that rumors would be flying around now that I was bad luck. Eros had asked me to follow him to his office if I'd be comfortable with it and I wished I had declined. He was inside discussing what had happened while I stood outside with Haris per my will. The castle was busy now and people were moving around, I could hear their whispers of how this had never happened before and they were sure that it was my presence with evil spirits around me that caused it. I could feel the stares and some were brave enough to wag their fingers. It became so unbearable that I grabbed Haris's hand and pulled him along with me trying to find a place to hide and eventually we entered a room that looked like a drawing room. I shut the door close and motioned for Haris to take a seat on the chair while I leaned against the wall with my head resting on my arm.
Demi's pov I didn't have time to contest Eros's words. One moment I was looking at him dumbfounded, the next he was escorting me to a car and I was led inside with a seat belt strapped around me and Haris too as well. Eros joining us in the back and the driver setting the car in motion and before I knew it we were off to the human world. I had never been in a car before and I clutched onto Eros's arm with Haris screaming holding onto me as we passed through the bumpy forest roads before setting onto tarred ashy routes after a long ride along the smooth road and only seeing trees before we got to civilization. Houses at first, littered along the greeneries before driving forward to see more and more of those houses and we eventually entered the city as Eros called it. "Wow." I echoed before slapping my hand over my mouth in shame and Eros took my wrist bringing the hand away from its position. "You don't have to show that you are inexperienced from me, I would never judge." Tha
Demi's pov Wife?! Harlyn was squealing on the inside while I stared into space chewing slowly on the piece of chocolate that the girl standing before me pushed in my mouth and the rest fussed over me, pushing different fabrics against my skin and throwing out orders. Wife! He called me his wife! I didn't know what that could mean but I knew it meant that I was now very important to him and I wondered if it was genuine or not. Ever since the fire incident, he had changed completely and now he referred to me as a wife in the human world making me feel more important and relaxed than I ought to be. The different stylists hovered around me, bringing out different clothes and dumping them on the chaise nearby, another one brought underwear that looked scandalous making me bright red on the face, and other outfits including comfy wear, dinner dresses, and everything a girl could need. "You are so lucky!"The girl before me smiled passing a chocolate piece into my mouth, "He has never
Bopha's pov I got off the phone with His Majesty and clasped my hand in excitement, my cheeks swelled from the smile stretching across my lips when I squealed, jumping up and down at the message he just dropped. I couldn't have been happier than I felt at the moment. I quickly texted the necessary people I had to get in contact with to make the plan he just laid out for me as it would be easier to execute with the help I would get. I was swarming with glee on the insides at how fortunate my best friend Demi was. I was glad that despite what she had faced on getting here even with keeping the pain underneath as I was sure that there was a lot that she didn't talk about from her past and present, by present I meant Anya. She was malicious and delusional enough to go out of her way to harm Demi but each time I asked her if she was putting her through hell, she was quick to push the matter aside and move our discussions to other things that were far away from w
