I did not get much sleep all night. No, I had spent the night thinking, ee thinking so much that by the time dawn crept into the sky my head was already filled with a clear plan and I was already convinced of what I needed to do.

The steps I need to take and where I want to be in the future.

As of the moment Cage rejected me and broke my heart, he murdered the Omega Aurora.

Now I am the mate of the three powerful rogue kings, basically the queen of the three lands.

I have been given a gift by the goddess and I saw it as a second chance to get payback for what I have lost and the pain I have suffered.

Cage would bow to me. Him and his whole pack, I would make sure of that.

But first I just needed to do something.

Mindy opened the door, beaming as she walked into the room.

“Hey you,” She greeted cheerfully and I raised my brow, wondering just what was sponsoring her cheerful mood this morning, “How are you doing?”

“I am fine, Mindy. I was thinking about your advice yesterday.” I walked away from the window and sat down.

Mindy leaned closer, eyes wide with curiosity, “Oh? So what do you think?”

“You were right,” I nodded, “I have been blessed by the goddess and I do not need to keep dwelling on my past, on the plains and the lost. I want to start moving forward and i would love your help in this new journey.”

Mindy smiled, “And what exactly is this new journey?”

“Self discovery?” I shrugged, “I am tired of being the bruised Omega. I have been given this power and I want to embrace it, this new identity that I have. This new opportunity and family. I want to grow into someone bigger than what I currently am. I want to grow into a powerful woman.”

When I was done, Mindy was still grinning. She grabbed my hand with both of hers, and held it tightly.

“You do not know how glad I am to hear you saying this, Aurora. I am so proud of you and this sudden change you have in your approach.”

I nodded, “Thank you.”

Mindy giggled, “We have to get started as soon as possible. You are now a queen, of not one or two, but three powerful lands. So asides acknowledging this title, we need to turn you into a queen inside and out. Help you build the confidence you need to walk around knowing that you own the whole place.”

That made my heart sing in blessing.

“That will be beautiful because I do not know the first thing about being a queen.”

“And that is why you have me here. We shall proceed as soon as possible.”

“Thank you so much, Mindy. You have been so helpful. However there is something I would love to do first. I want to meet with your brothers - my mates and speak with them. This is the most important part.”

“Of course. I will let them know right away.”

With a giggle and a brief excited hug, she rushed out of the room to my thoughts.

I shuddered and took a sharp inhale. This is not going to be easy, I know that.

But nothing huge comes easy.

I am going to take this path and I do not care how hard it will be.

About one hour later, the door opened once again and the three men walked, looking as ravishing as ever.

I tapped into our mate bond and could feel what was going through their heads.

Confusion, and a little touch of fear which was coming from Ryder.

Did he think that I wanted to reject them or what? What was there to be scared of?

I offered them a seat and stood up before them, ready to address them. I had planned this whole speech all night, but now my heart was just beating so wildly I doubted if I would be able to actually talk.

“How are you feeling today Aurora? You look much better.” Ryder said with a light smile and I returned the smile, the nerves slowly dissolving.

“Thank you, and I do feel much better. In fact I believe that I am completely healed now and that is why I called for you three - part of the reason actually. I know I might not have said this before but I just want to express one on one how grateful I am, to you all for saving my life, rescuing me and taking care of me for days. Even though you had no business doing so, you still did. I owe my life to you. Thank you so much.”

The three of them exchanged glances, before turning their gaze to me.

“It is not a problem Aurora. We only did the right thing,” Zephyr said, “I for one am just grateful to see you alive and kicking.”

“It must not have been easy what you went through. You do not owe us anything and you do not need to thank us.” Ryder added and I smiled.

Xander said nothing, not that I was even expecting him to.

“I am glad. I really am. The other thing I want to talk about is the mate bond. I have accepted that I am not going to challenge the goddess who gave us this chance for whatever reason she had. I am staying, for good as your mate. And none of you can reject me either,” I raised my chin stubbornly daring them to object or challenge me, and when none of them spoke, i cleared my throat and continued, “However I am also aware of the long enmity between you three and i am not interested in being caught between that dispute, so i already came up with a plan of how they can work smoothly for us all.”

Ryder chuckled, “You have a plan already? Just how long did you have to think about this?”

I shrugged, “When you spend all day doing nothing…you think a lot.”

“Fine. Share this plan of yours with us, oh wise one.”

I ignored his joke and the amusement in Xander and Zephyr’s eyes as I went on, “I will be spending time with each of you on intervals. Every week, I will go and stay with one of you. This will be for the meantime until we figure out a better way to navigate this.”

They said nothing, and I bit my lip in frustration, “I would love to know what you think.”

After a moment of nerve wrecking silence, Xander cleared his throat, “You have everything figured out already so who are we to object?”

I was genuinely surprised. I was expecting him to actually protest a little but this is a plus for me too.

“Yes, I do think it is a good idea. A very great one actually.” Zephyr said and Ryder nodded, obviously agreeing with his brothers.

I released a breath of relief, fighting the urge to pump my fist in the air, in excitement, “Good. The first person I will be spending the week with is Xander.”

He raised his brow, seemingly surprised that I had chosen him but I had my reasons.

“I would like to stay close to Mindy, for the next few days at least. And - I do believe I have a lot to learn from your mother…about being the queen of a land.”

They said nothing about my last sentence and I smirked as I watched Xander’s eyes dance in amusement.

“So i guess we have that all settled right?” Ruder asked, standing up and walking towards me, his gaze turning cheated on my face.

“Yes, I believe that is all, for now at least.”

“Good, because I have been wanting to do this for a long time now.” Before I could blink or think he grabbed my hand and yanked me towards him.

I didn't have the chance to say a word before his lips captured mine in a mind numbing kiss.
