THE NEXT LUNA

Liliana laid there lifeless, no one who have thought she was the same person who had tried to kill someone at the mountains few minutes ago.

The Alpha opened the door few seconds after she had position herself on the bed. If she had waited there or was five seconds later she would have been caught red handed by the alpha, good things she had been fast.

She laid there looking lifeless and pale but deep in her heart she resent herself for not finishing Laura when she had a chance to. Now she had to start all over again to looking for her.

"That little wench was able to escape ? That not good at all, she had only tried to make conversations with me because she wants to waste my time and run away from her death, she is able to run away right now but she would not be able to run away the next time I get her, I would kill her immediately" she promised deep in her heart.

The alpha on the hand sat down next to her, disappointment and sadness was written all over his face as he wached her pale face.

She was in this much pain because she saved all of them just in one night, his lover was only suffering all this pain because of that damn cook who tried to kill them all.

He was only waiting patiently for his lover, Liliana to wake up from this deep sleep before he finally decided on what punishment and how painful he his going to make her face death.

She had put all of them lives in risk and most especially the life of his lover who did everything to save them. Laura deserved nothing but death and that is what she was going to face, the most painful way of death at that.

But he just could not just erase the look in her eye and the spark he left when she heard her hands and begged him to say her life. There was just something about her that made his wolf feels weird.

Although he could not point out what it was but he knows that there was this odd connection between them from the frist day they meet but he didn't place it important snice he felt it was not necessary.

He thought it was just his wolf acting crazy until she touched him and looked at him with those pitiful eye, he felt the spark he just could not comprehend.

"She is just trying to save herself, there is nothing special about her. Laura is a murderer !" He yelled to himself as he immediately discharge that crazy thought.

He heard his Liliana has with his warm hands as he wipe her forehead with his other hand.

Liliana raging temper immediately calmed down with that simple gesture he had made and she smiled but made sure he didn't see it. It was a tiny smile.

"Please wake up huh ? I hate seeing you lying here lifeless. Liliana I love you, you can't keep hurting me by lying here" he said passionatly his voice laced with concern and his eye filled with worry and sadness.

He was hurting, and he did not bother hiding it from anyone.

He looked at her to see if there was anything reaction from her but there wasn't, his face fell into a frown as he could not get any recation from her.

Liliana was excited that at least the alpha was like this and was this sad just because she is lying there.

She has the alpha heart in her hands for sure and she is willing to do anything to make sure no one take him away from her not even his mate.

She is going to do anything to make sure things remains the same.

"Liliana do you know that I wanted to announce you as my luna back at the ball but that darn crisis we had did not allow me do it. How about we hold other ball to announce you as my wife and luna ?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"His luna ? He his going to make me his luna ? Finally ! After all this while he finally made his decision to make me his luna official" she thought, beaming happily.

She knew it was worth waiting, there was finally going to be a reward for her waiting.

"Laura isn't that totally useless then, she has help me in acheiving what I waited for all these years" she thought.

Liliana was extremely excited, the main reason she has stayed by his side all these years was because she wanted to be his luna now he finally decided to make her his luna official.

"Don't you dare change you mind letter on" she replied slowly and the alpha smile brightened immediately he heard her voice.

She is finally awake ! Thanks to the moon goddess that she finally opened those eye.

"Liliana? Of course I won't change my mind" he responded and immediately hugged her. A smirked appeared on her face as he hug her.

"I missed you so much" he confessed and she smiled brightly.

"I missed you too, your voice won't stop ringing in my head so I had no other choice than to wake up to see your handsome face" she responded and he chuckled.

"Of course, you are our goddess, I can't let you sleep that long. What do you expect me to do when you are lying there pale on this bed ?" He responded and she smiled.

That was exactly what she is to them, their goddess and saviour, nothing less than that.

That is the image she had created for them and they have no other choice than to accept it and adore her.

A knock interrupted them from their discussion, the alpha was not pleased to hear that someone was knocking at the door right now that he was busy with his love and luna to be, but the presence of his beta meant it was something trivial.

"Come in" he instructed and his beta walked in with his head bowed down.

"Alpha she is missing !" He announced.
