Chapter One Hundred

Catherine's POV:

My drive to him, though silent, was filled with so many voices in my head. I couldn't shake off the fact that John was the one carrying out the killings.

How had things gone from peaceful to chaotic all of a sudden.

I remember the first time I met John. He was such a nice man, attending to me and asking me questions. I remember breaking down in tears before him after lamenting my situation to him and he had listened to me without even judging me.

I remembered how he had surprised me by offering to accommodate me in his condo. In order not to make me uncomfortable, he made sure I had the access to my own privacy. That way, we rarely bumped into each other until we started to become polite to each other.

He had been there during my time of labor, acting as a good companion and promising me safety and when I delivered, he was the one who had suggested the names to give our kids. Hell, he had literally bought everything they were going to be using f
