Family

(Third person's POV) 

It was spring, when a couple decided to move to a new village, far from the town where they used to live before. 

It was a small village where most people worked and lived as farmers. Their lives are simple, content and happy. 

They have bought a quite large house for a cheap price, but renovation will take time and fortune. The male fixed one room and the front door, so he will feel secure whenever he leave his spouse at home.

They were still young that time, possibly around 25 in age when they got married, and decided to move out and be independent.

The couple helped each other in fixing the house, and one by one their neighbors noticed the newcomers. They were greeted warmly by the villagers.

As the cold night arrives, their chief villager and his spouse visited and welcomed them, the woman prepared food and wine for their visitor.

"I am glad that you decided to live here in our small, and humble village." The chief said as he lift his glass and sip the wine.

The male just smiled and pour wine to the chief's glass.

It took them a while before they made friends there. 

A month later, the couple had a beautiful blessing. Frederick's wife was pregnant and he started working harder to earn more. He has to prepare for the upcoming new member of the family. 

Geneva, his beautiful wife, loved her husband dearly, so to help him she started planting herbs and flowers on pots. She also started selling rice cakes to some of the villagers.

Few weeks later, the herbs are ready for harvest, the flowers are cut and are sorted out. She sells some and the others are for their daily meals . 

Her herbs are collected by a village merchant who sell goods to nearby villages  and town.

She earns well that she saves the money she earn. "Frederick, won't need to worry much if I need to give birth." She murmured and went to the kitchen, to prepare lunch.

Months had past, she gave birth to a healthy boy; they named him Aiomi. Aiomi grew as a strong, healthy boy and he easily learned all farm duties. 

Aiomi has this deep blue eyes like the ocean, a blond hair like his mom and a pinkish lips and cheeks. Because he was helping his father a lot in the farm the sun has burned his white complexion, yet everyone in the village was his friends. 

Aiomi loves his parents, especially his mother and soon later befriended Yuki. They were very close to each other, they seem like siblings. They enjoyed each other's company. 

Aiomi was five in age when he studied in the nearest school in the village. He was not that smart nor gifted. But he always have good grades like Yuki. He boasts his grades to his parents in a good way. They were happy that they had a son, and it's Aiomi. 

Obedient 

Hard working 

Humble 

And most of all he is Trustworthy. 

At 5 1/2 years old, Aiomi received news that he will have a brother so after classes he rushed home. He didn't even noticed that his mother was pregnant. 

He saw his mother, resting on a couch made of hay, she was carrying his brother, slowly he placed his things near the door and approached them.

Aiomi was looking at his mom, his dad held Aiomi's shoulders and said, " Aiomi, this is your brother, Hikaru. We hope you teach him every good things you know." Aiomi nodded.

He stared at his brother. Aiomi has this smile on his face. No one noticed the little girl peeking at them, she was a bit jealous at his best friend.

She was no other than Yuki. 

Yuki whispered Aiomi's name and left. 

A year has passed, Yuki's jealousy turned to fondness. She and Aiomi take turns at taking care of Hikaru. Aiomi's mom was there guiding.

They noticed that Hikaru was fond of books. At 2 years old he started talking , 2 ½ he was able to converse with others, by 3 in age he can read and later on write.

All of these were taught by Aiomi and Yuki together. Hikaru was gifted. He brings Hikaru when he and Yuki plays. Their parents both worked to give them a beautiful future. 

Years had passed, Aiomi was fifteen and was helping at the farm, Yuki was sent to the palace to be the queen's attendant, and Hikaru became a scholar in a near town. He visits them rarely. 

Their parents started livestock , their parents were proud of them.
