A Few Weeks Later

Because of what happened with Amara, I had been keeping a low profile in the palace. I so badly wanted to storm over to her and question her so many times in the past few weeks many times but I always managed to stop myself.

I think that Conan and Rocky's treats must have gotten to me too. The both of them made me so scared that I didn't dare to go do anything to Amara.

Even though I really hated her , I didn't do anything to her. In fact, I had to stay away from her.

Worse was the fact that most of the maids had stopped talking to me. I know that many of them did not like me before and I didn't care, but they still tried to make conversation with me before all this even though it was fake.

After that day, it was as if all of them had taken a collective decision. Ignore Slyvia until she runs mad.

Even the Baroness doesn't let me do anything for her now. She used to like me before but she looks as if she just can't wait to get away from me nowadays
