Chapter 38: Back Home

Damian called Mrs. Liem back, telling her to give Sira permission not to come to work anymore. Damian told her why, but it was Sira's wish. He felt bad for Mrs. Liem.

“What will they say? They might think I'm taking advantage of the situation,” said Sira, who was now sitting in Damian's car. Meanwhile, Damian focused on driving, then turned to Sira.

“What do you call taking advantage of the situation?” asked Damian.

“Well, that's obvious. Since you're in charge, they must think I'm the one who deliberately took the day off to take advantage of your power,” Sira replied with a sluggish face. She really wasn't in the best of spirits since she had been off work for two days.

“If that's the case, no problem. What's wrong with that?” snapped Damian, automatically earning a glare from Sira.

“It's definitely against the rules. That's nelotism, where you've taken advantage of the power of those closest to you,” Sira replied quickly, again getting annoyed by Damian who always made her emotiona
