Chapter 34: Karma Paid in Full!

Sira couldn't bear to see Mario's family suffer so much, even though she had suffered more as a child. This was nothing compared to the torment and reproach Sira received from everyone.

“I think I'll just go home. I have to go to work in the afternoon anyway,” Sira said, looking up at Damian. The look in her eyes didn't show it. Damian easily guessed it.

“So? Ah... I see. You left them to me didn't you?” Damian squinted then looked at Mario's family.

“Take good care of them. Do as I tell you. Shouldn't the wicked taste evil too?” Damian said, looking disgustedly at Mario and his family.

Damian leaned closer to Mario, whispering in his ear, “You're hiding something about Sira's past aren't you? Do I have to find out? Perhaps Sira is the daughter of your best friend?”

Damian's words managed to make Mario's face pale. I don't know which part made him scared. But a few seconds later Mario looked sharply at Damian.

“Fuck off! You're not going to find out the truth.” Mario grinned triumphan
