Chapter 1

Election

"Who will you vote for president?"

Who is it? I honestly don't care who else wins. Maybe I'll vote for the name that my ballpoint pen stop.

I'm taking Business Management and I'm currently in my second year. If you gonna ask me how am I doing in my class? It's okay. Just don’t really have problems going up.

I look in front of the auditorium, the table for the two parties is now set. The students can't stop themselves from predicting what will happen in this debate. The two leaders are both great so whoever wins I am sure they can do their roles properly.

"Hey, Isha! There are no blood relatives here. We do not do it here! I'll vote for whoever my heart beats for." Coleen said while laughing.

Isha stared at Coleen because of what was said. "It's up to you! Kuya won't lose just because of your one vote."

I'm busy with my phone when I hear the announcement. "Good morning students, we'll start the most awaiting debate in a few minutes."

"How about you Dea, you think kuya will do good later?" I look at Isha with her question.

"Of course, your annoying brother will win this one!" Honestly, her older brother and I are not close. Akisha has been my best friend since high school so it's not difficult that until now in college we are still together.

I look at my phone again. I open my I***a and look for some updates. I took a picture of the stage and put some effects on it.

I also put a poll asking: "Who do you think will be the winner? A or B?

I posted it on my story as I continue scanning my feed. A notification popped up showing that someone messaged me.

travisklein: Of course I'll win this one.

So proud of this boy? His opponent, who is also a well known top student in Engineering, is also good.

Honestly speaking, Isha's brother is really good in people's hearts. Imagine he's just 3rd year but he's competing with those seniors already.

Just wow! Who is he to command me? I locked my phone so I can focus on the debate that is about to begin.

The auditorium was filled with loud screams and cheers for both candidates. Many cheered for Travis but many also cheered for Davin.

The most awaited debate finally started. They introduce themselves first then it's followed by the question: "Why do you want to be the student council's president?"

Both of them answered the question confidently and we all clap our hands because of that.

A series of questions must be defended by the two. I'm really sleepy, I look at my friends and I badly want to laugh because they're all serious while listening in front.

I approached Coleen to ask where we would be later after this. We don't have classes because the faculty has a meeting for the upcoming foundation week.

"Where are we hanging later?" I asked Coleen

She looked at me but immediately turned her eyes to the front. "Chills, we'll have a rich kid buddy later" she replied accompanied by laughter

"Who's the rich kid? You?" I asked him. "Duh. Of course not, it's not that I am wealthy I also look forward to free foods girl hahaha"

"Eh who is that?"

"Later girl! You'll also know, can't you see I'm busy here!" she replied as if she's disgusted. I raised both my hands as if surrendering.

I open my phone again to play Mobile Legends. Miggy introduced this game to me and I was shocked when I learned that he's so great playing this one.

If it was just me, I knew I wasn't good yet and maybe the only reason I won was that he was playing with me.

I was about to open the app when a message popped up. When I looked it was from the group chat the coach did for our gymnasts.

Gymnast Club -

coach: we'll have a month's break in training. Don't forget my instructions. Condition yourself and discipline do not forget especially. We're aiming to top the upcoming competition right? Let's do our best.

PS: I will miss you :(

I reacted heartily to the coach's message. I'm a part of the gymnast club pala and we're going to join the competition months from now.

"Relationship while studying? Yes or No?"

I listened to the debate again when I heard the loud screams of my companions. I look at the two men in front and wait for their answers like the others do.

Isha's brother was the first one who walks to the podium and grabs the microphone. He smiles at the crowd and had a deep sigh.

"When you really want to finish your studies because you have a certain goal, you'll do it without a doubt. You'll do it because you aimed for something that will benefit you and your family. So, therefore, my answer is yes I'm somehow in favor of those relationships while studying. "

The crowd clapped their hands and cheer loudly because of his answer. He stepped back so Davin can deliver his answer.

"It's a no. It's a no because if you really love someone, you'll wait for her and do more important things than that love we're talking about."

The two continued to answer until it ended with their handshake and the people continued to cheer.

The students stood up for the auditorium to leave. We are also preparing because we are still waiting for Travis.

We're about to stand up when I saw Davin approaching us. He smiled at me widely and nod at me.

"Hey, you're here to watch me? Am I okay?" Davin asked me while laughing.

I laughed at what he said. Did I watch because of him? "Oh wow. I just can't do anything so I'm here no"

"Okay, I believe" I punched him jokingly. "What? It's true! I'm not here because of you!"

"So cute, short-tempered pretty lady Hahahaha" I glared at him because he's still laughing.

"Any plans? Lunch?" They turned to him Coleen because of what was said.

"We're having a group study because Davin, so Dea is ours first" I look at her wondering.

I averted my eyes when I noticed someone approaching. His eyes look cold and he's glaring at us or at me?

"Is that so? Okay, thank you for this Dey. I'll call you later" I just nodded to dismiss the discussion.

Isha elbowed me and when I looked at her she mouthed "Let's go". I nodded at her, "Uhm, we're leaving" I said to him.

"Okay. Take care, please remember this is for you" He kissed my cheek and walked away. I blushed because of that without noticing it.

"Hey! Why are you blushing huh?!?" Coleen exclaimed. What? I'm blushing?

"Hey, I'm not blushing no!"

"Let's go," a deep voice said. He is still here. I looked at him and I was about to smile when he glared at me and stared at me.

Okay? Why does it seem he's mad at me?
