Chad’s POV

Jill walked over to me when she was finished with the guard “Are the others coming with us to the council?”

“James will be since he is my Beta, I am assuming that Megan will also want to come since she is his mate. I think she also wants to talk to Pete, she was very impressed with his powers” I looked over at Steve who was locked in deep kiss with Vic. I forget that they are mated sometimes and him been away from her to help us would be hard for him “I think Steve should stay with Victoria. It is too hard on them to keep them apart”

Jill followed my gaze “I agree, he can help get the girls settled in the pack”

“What about your guard friend?” I tried to hide the jealousy from my voice but judging the look Jill looked I me I failed.

“He has spoken to his brother who is going to return and take over Victors pack. He is going to return to help his bother out. He is not sure what he will do after that, I have told him that he is welcome to join my pack”
