Saloni’s POV

I didn’t let Bram get out of my sight. It was our honeymoon. The beginning of many good things to come. Just as I have been determined to get Bram in the end, I was determined to keep him. It came with a lot of sacrifice. Like offering him the Lycan position on a platter of gold when it could have been handed to me.

Many times, I’ve spoken to my dad about being the she-Lycan.

That’s the only thing he didn’t agree with me on.

Deep down, I knew he didn’t deem me fit for the role since I wasn’t a man. I felt hurt. My father, though he loved me, had always placed an embargo on how far I could go in my military career.

He took into consideration I was a woman. Married woman. With the home front and future pups to cater for.

Even though I had told him I was capable of leading a battalion of soldiers; my father would never agree for me to take the lead. Yes, he was proud of his warrior Luna daughter. But not as proud as he would have been if I were a man.
