“Alpha Damon” I said, faking a smile as I walked towards them fixing my hair.

I moved over to the chair directly opposite them as I smiled at them.

“You seem tired from last night, are you okay?” Jess asked, smiling at me as she held onto her fork by the table.

I was sort of confused on why she suddenly cared about me wanting to know whether I was fine or not.

I turned facing her as I gave a nod indicating that I was indeed exhausted from last night’s party.

“I just feel a bit stressed,” I responded.

In no time, the maidens had my share of the food served as they had it ushered in, on a fancy rolling tray.

“Oh, thanks” I said as I picked up my fork, munching on my food.

Breakfast went on and on with us munching on our meals in silence.

“I hear you are a good fighter,” she said, smiling at me.

“I’m still learning, Miss Jess” I responded, faking a smile.

“Good!!” she said going back to her meal.

And just as I had my head up, I met eyes with Damon who just couldn’t stop staring at
