Chapter 43 You almost fooled me!

Next day in Zoey’s hospital ward Tristan was sitting next to her bed, on a chair and he was watching Zoey when the door suddenly opened and Nana showed up in a wheelchair, helped by a nurse.

“I am taking it from here, thank you sweetie” Nana said to the nurse and motioned her to leave.

Tristan got up, as if he was a child who got caught with his hand in the jar.

“Nana, what are you doing here? You need to rest” he said in a soft voice , trying to help her to come closer, because he thought that she was here to see Zoey, but Nana squinted her eyes at him, and slapped his arm, she said.

“You scoundrel!” and she was so pissed off that Tristan thought that she was going to have a heart attack. “Your Alpha balls are so tiny that you are afraid to face me? I asked you to come visit me!” she said, almost growling at him.

Tristan avoided her because he knew that she would get angry, and even if he would kill whoever dares to talk to him like this, Nana is special so he let her act the way she
