Jaselyn's POV

“Don't come in, Rion. I'm in the middle of something very important. We'll talk later.” Zane finally speaks and the grasp on the door knob seems to release.

“Oh. You could have just said so. I'll come by later then.” Rion replies and shortly after, I hear his retreating footsteps.
