Zane's POV

“I'm sorry, Alpha but that would be dangerous. Given the weather conditions, going any faster could increase the likelihood of us ending up in a ditch. The rain also makes it hard to see what's ahead and I don't want to cause an accident or get into one. I'm really sorry, Alpha but this is the fastest I can manage given the conditions.
