Chapter 233

Jaselyn's POV 

Blood.

It was trickling down my thighs, warm and sticky, pooling between my legs and staining the sheets beneath me. The sight of it sent a shockwave of terror through me, freezing my breath in my lungs and making my heart pound wildly against my ribs. I stared at the crimson stain, my mind racing, trying to process what I was seeing, what it meant. 

Panic surged through me like a jolt of electricity, setting every nerve on fire, my body reacting before my brain could catch up. My babies—was I losing one of them? Both of them? 

The thought hit me like a sledgehammer, the fear so raw and visceral that it almost made me vomit again. I needed to do something, anything, but I was paralyzed, trapped in my own body by the terror coursing through my veins.

I tried to scream, to call for help, but the sound caught in my throat, choked by the overwhelming fear that I was losing them, that this nightmare was going to claim
