I've asked myself a thousand times now. The question ‘why’ has plagued my mind repeatedly. I've continuously wondered why I've been dealt such horrendous cards by fate but still, I can't seem to find the answers.

I've dealt with so much since yesterday that the revelation that I've been poisoned this whole time doesn't shock me as much as it should. Isla had destroyed my entire life so her attempt on my life isn't exactly unprecedented. I mean it's not the first time.
