Rion's POV

“What are you saying, Diete?” I confronted him.

“I'm telling the truth, what reason would I have to lie to you?” He shot back and I had no response to that.

“Rion, please wait!” Luna Daryna stood up but I couldn't bring myself to turn and look at her.

I still can't bring myself to accept any of this. It just isn't right, it wouldn't be fair. The life I've lived, everything I've come to know, how can they just tell me it's all a lie? No, there's no way I can believe anyone in this room, they're all lying. Even Diete is lying. This is just some kind of silly trick, that's what it has to be.

There are only two people in this world that I know won't lie to me; my mum and dad. I need to talk to them, I need to hear it from them.

I'm sure they'll assure me that these people are lying or prove that this is some type of misunderstanding.
